"Shhhhh... just let it happen."

The premise of this deck is very simple. I gain life and you lose it. In playing this deck Cliffhaven Vampire is key to victory. For that reason alone, I added Diabolic Tutor so I could fetch him and play him turn five at the latest. Authority of the Consuls is there to slow down my opponent and trigger life drain/gain mid-late game. I placed in Lone Rider   because I should have SOME creature to attack with besides Vampire Cutthroat right?

As for any defense, I have Anguished Unmaking as my primary problem solver. The cmc is well worth it and with life gain... giving up 3 isn't even felt. like ever! I have never finished a game saying, "If only I hadn't played Anguished Unmaking!" Additionally Zulaport Cutthroat makes my opponent reconsider trading creatures for blocking/attacking. Being aggro minded (usually) I had to add some "burn" type cards. The synergy between Collective Brutality and Alms of the Vein were too perfect not to play together. Both are valuable cards based on cmc and flexibility, but together, they're just beautiful.

Sideborad: I added Panharmonicon because this deck has a sizable Ally component to it. (This card could EASILY come out.) I'm always looking for ways to improve the play of my decks. Any suggestions are appreciated. Please keep in mind, I'm not looking to spend $200+ on a deck. I like to play casually, for fun, but also like to win. I'm no pro tour competitor.

Thanks for looking!
