The trick is to get as much lifegain creatures down as possible. Then by turn 4 or 5, it would be good to put attach an Armored Ascension on any of the lifegain creatures, that would make it at least a 5/5 flying lifegain. Depending on the situation, if the opponent isn't tapped out, do this with at least 1 Brave the Elements to protect the creature from instants etc. If Armored Ascension can't reach the creature, then Ajani's Pridemate can do the trick.

For defense, Pacifism and Banisher Priest and Brave the Elements are present. The creature with an Armored Ascenion could also block really well. From high to cast spells, we have Mistmeadow Skulk to block.
