To summarize my most recent changes I am testing out:
- Worn Powerstone -> Palladium Myr: Having my mana rocks also be creatures turns out to actually make a difference in how the deck plays. This is a followup to similar changes already implemented.
- Molten Psyche -> Chaos Warp: I hadn't been using Chaos Warp because I didn't feel I needed it. However, with Chandra, Flamecaller in the deck, I felt I didn't need Molten Psyche anymore. Chaos Warping My own field is actually kind of fun.
- Treasonous Ogre -> Soulbright Flamekin: I am trying this out because copying Soulbright Flamekin nets me 2 more red mana to use when comboing out, gives trample, and is a 2-drop. I didn't mind paying life for mana, but it hasn't really been all that useful or fun after I took out Soul Conduit.
- Dragonmaster Outcast -> Embodiment of Fury: Alright, turns my lands into creatures, gives my lands trample, gives me more Zada targets (without needing 6 lands out), interacts well with Twinflame and Heat Shimmer, and has awesome art.
- Glaring Spotlight -> Sundial of the Infinite: The idea here is to end the turn after the beginning of the end step, but before the tokens from Chandra, Flamecaller, Feldon of the Third Path, Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker, Twinflame, Heat Shimmer, or Splinter Twin actually leave play.
- Myr Battlesphere -> Thopter Assembly: GobboE's suggestion has been working out nicely, and even if it isn't an ETB, the tokens are better at actually helping me win. It interacts reasonably well with Descent of the Dragons.

1empyrean,
It's been a while since I've looked at the deck ... very cool seeing how it"s evolved!
A quick (and potentially stupid) question: How does Goblin Sharpshooter + Splinter Twin work? I can see mowing down a wall of */1s with it, but how does it go infinite?

clayperce - assuming you can kill any creature on the field, like an eldrazi spawn token or a goblin token, you start it like this:
- Tap and copy Goblin Sharpshooter
- Have the copy kill something. Any creature other than the 2 sharpshooters will do. This now gives you 2 untapped sharpshooters.
- Tap and copy Goblin Sharpshooter
- Have one copy ping your opponent, and one copy ping the other copy.
- Tap and copy Goblin Sharpshooter
Continue until they are dead.
It is kind of terrifying considering this combo can be used in any deck with red, and Splinter Twin was banned in modern, so it will probably be more accessible.

Splinter Twin really doesn't further the gameplan of going wide by itself though. Would it make sense to add more creatures that produce infinite combos when targeted by it, like Zealous Conscripts?

AndWelcomeToTheJam The reason I am using Splinter Twin and Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker is to copy any of the following:
- Chancellor of the Forge: Go wide with hasty goblins. How many do I really need?
- Charmbreaker Devils: get 2 upkeep triggers when I copy it after the beginning of opponent's end step. Becomes huge after only a few spells cast, so having 2 can easily finish a game in its own right.
- Dualcaster Mage: Copy any spell at any time for free.
- Embodiment of Fury: Double the landfall triggers. Sometimes this is all I need on its own, but I like to combo it with Chaos Warp. It turns out that this is my new favorite thing to do, as I have a soft spot for land creatures.
- Emrakul's Hatcher: 3 more eldrazi spawn is good.
- Goblin Dark-Dwellers: Cast nearly any instant or sorcery from my graveyard...Instant speed.
- Goblin Sharpshooter: I just described the combo above. It should win the game as effectively as Zealous Conscripts. Although, casting Twinflame with 100+ Zealous Conscripts would be pretty funny, but you don't win the game any harder than before...
- Siege-Gang Commander: 3 more goblins and I can sac the copy without losing anything.
- Utvara Hellkite: Churning out dragons at double the rate is pretty good.
- Wurmcoil Engine: Simple enough. Best when it dies and you get 2 tokens that stay around.
- Young Pyromancer: Double the triggers. Pretty incredible when all you have in hand is Twinflame and Crimson Wisps or something similar.
In addition:
- Seize the Day and Mark of Mutiny: Tntap for even more copies.
- Sundial of the Infinite: Keep those copies around for good.
- Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx: They both contribute towards your devotion to red, and so do the copies.
- Mutavault: Another landfall trigger for Embodiment of Fury. Another land creature that is all creature types which is good for Krenko, Mob Boss and Utvara Hellkite.
- Eldrazi Monument: Sometimes, all you really need is fodder.

...This doesn't even factor in enchanting someone else's creature as a political gesture. Sometimes, the kingmaker route sets you up for future games.

Have you seen this card?
It's in the Izzet 2016 Commander Precon and it's pretty damn bonkers with Zada.
February 6, 2016 6:50 p.m.
Firearrow501 I have. However, I use Goblin Dark-Dwellers in much the same way.
I am thinking of using Mizzix's Mastery in another deck (and I only have 1), so this all works out.

Nice deck. My only real problem is the cost lol. The name is perfect though. I made a budget Standard and budget Modern goblin deck based around Zada. I never made a EDH one but Ive been meaning to.

PixelNation Thanks.
Zada is super easy to make budget, and I can probably help you out if you put up a decklist.

So a bunch of people have started building Zada 5 Color with Tazri. What are your thoughts on this?

Alright, I am testing some changes to see if I can get them to work. A big reason for the changes is that I want to play around with Embodiment of Fury and some other stuff.
