The deck was't performing as well as it should. I would either draw not enough lands, too many spells/not enough creatures, or vice versa. I always felt like I was one turn away from winning, but never got there. Here's a summary of the major changes/additions I made.

While this change at first may seem superficial, the benefits befome clear once you see Extraplanar Lens and Scrying Sheets. Extraplanar Lens gives me all the mana I could ever need, at half the casting cost of Caged Sun. In addition, as long as no one else is playing with Snow-Covered Mountains (which is true in my playgroup), I am the only one who reaps the benefit! Scrying Sheets allows me to, well, scry. The filtering of lands off the top of my deck is a powerful ability to have, in a color with hardly any draw power. This is especially useful in conjunction with Sensei's Divining Top and Scroll Rack. Speaking of which...

Sensei's Divining Top 2.0. Particulaly useful when I've got a hand with too much of one card type. Swap the hand for a new one, then crack a fetchland for brand-new topdecks! Having both Top and Rack is a bit redundant, but at least I can save the Top if all nonland permanents were to be destroyed. Speaking of which...

Most often in 1v1 games, this is a Staff of Nin for . In multiplayer, I can reset the board if things get out of hand on a particular side, which gives this deck that much more fortitude in these types of games.

Gotta have that card draw. This gives me the advantage red so desperately needs, even if it is a bit on the costly side. Even better against blue decks with lots of draw spells.

I plan on making two additions when they are released with Eldritch Moon: Hanweir Battlements and Hanweir Garrison. The land is a pseudo-Hall of the Bandit Lord with less downside, and the creature is a great token generator for an affordable cost, that gets a whole lot scarier when melded.
