Zandl's Centaur Tribal [Top8@FNM x2]

Sideboard

Wanted to for awhile, but now my dream has become a real possibility with Pheres-Band Warchief . Some of these choices aren't set in stone as there's a lot more of Journey to be spoiled. Let me what you think!

3 Ajani, Mentor of Heroes: Fantastic for midrange decks. Buffs an army of creatures or makes one huge. He can dig for creatures, Elspeth, and other Ajani. Ultimate is gg against most decks (if you're lucky enough to get him there).

4 Call of the Conclave: Basically a 3/3 Centaur for 2 mana and also makes the population sideboard cards better.

4 Centaur Healer : Anti-aggro support and a 3/3 body.

4 Courser of Kruphix : Big butt and land-digging. Also has a bit of synergy with Ajani. Negligible life-gain.

4 Elvish Mystic: Grants me access to more turn-2 and turn-3 plays.

3 Fated Intervention : This deck's version of Advent of the Wurm. 2 bodies, populate support, and a desperate Scry 2 if I need it.

4 Mutavault: How convenient; a land that's also a Centaur.

4 Nylea's Disciple: Nets me a significant amount of life with all of this Green stuff and helps fill up my curve appropriately.

4 Pheres-Band Warchief : The driving attacking force behind the deck. Makes Mutavault a 3/3 Vigilance Trample that I can still tap for mana. Makes tokens 4/4 Vigilance Trample. etc.etc.

4 Selesnya Charm: Combat-trick/anti-burn, exile big things, or make a desperation token.

2 Setessan Tactics: I needed a way to deal with multiple little creatures at once in these colors and this actually seems like the best way to do it. I wasn't convinced at first, but this card is amazing in testing and I'll probably bump it up to 3.

2 Elspeth, Sun's Champion: Surprise factor and more late-game beef against control decks.

2 Glare of Heresy : Anti-control and anti-weenie. Gets rid of Elspeth, D-Sphere, and any non-land permanent in a weenie deck's arsenal.

2 Last Breath : Support against Chandra's Phoenix , Voice of Resurgence, and Xathrid Necromancer.

1 Pithing Needle: For anything and everything activated.

3 Rootborn Defenses: Very handy counter to Supreme Verdict that gives me an extra token.

1 Spear of Heliod: A great card for a midrange match-up. Buffs my creatures and gives me a removal outlet.

2 Sundering Growth: Kills artifacts and enchantments dead with populate, all for 2 mana.

2 Trostani, Selesnya's Voice: Huge against midrange and aggro. Nets me some significant life and populates on a stick.

Updates Add

Made it into Top 8 then got stomped by MUD.

The deck itself is really good at generating just a shitload of damage from out of nowhere. I managed to kill a guy from 15 while having nothing but just a Centaur Healer and a Mutavault out.out the turn prior.

Amazing cards: Pheres-Band Warchief, Ajani, Mentor of Heroes, Fated Intervention

Problem areas. I kept getting stuck on 4 lands, so I went ahead and added another. I also don't have a way to interact with smaller creatures, so I added Setessan Tactics which will work well with the Warchief's Vigilance. It seems like a gimmicky card, but actually kinda been a bomb in testing.
