This deck is a bit of a Hybrid version of Zaxara. Usually you are either Combo, Hydras, or X-Instants but this deck is all three. I cut Hydras that either don't serve an alternate function or are not immediate threats.

Combo You can either tutor for Freed from the Real or Pemmin's Aura to make infinite mana then X blast your opponents.

Hydras Counter double usual suspects plus useful hydras create great targets for removal.

X-Instants X-counters tap X etc. You can use them to create surprise blockers as well as help your boys live and get in hits.

Gaea's Cradle is not required for this deck i happen to have a couple from back in the day so there ya go.

If you do have a Gaea's or even if you don't you should know about Tempt with Discovery. Your Target(s) for this spell are diffrent based on how many take the tempt.

0 - just grab Gaea's for some more ramp 1 - Gaea's and Minamo to untap Gaea's 2-3 Depends on how many lands you already have in play but if its about 4 now we can have some fun. Field of the dead, Gaea's and 1-2 fetch lands. This will yield about 2-4 zombies after searching which Gaea's can use right away. If you don't own Gaea's then zombies are still good blockers.
