I played a 5 player EDH game a few nights ago against Ob Nixilis, the Fallen, Numot, the Devastator, Thada Adel, the Acquisitor, and the person I wanted to win was playing Karador, Ghost Chieftain. The game started off pretty simple with an early Puca's Mischief allowing me to trade around a Rhystic Study and get Thada Adel, the Acquisitor on my team for a few hits. Zedruu was quickly dealt with thanks to an Oblation by the Numot player so my helpfulness was very limited. I stayed under the radar as much as I could and tried to help the Karador player by giving them as much card draw and advantage as I could. The only problem was the Karador player was not really vested in the game, wasting removal on weak targets just for revenge and tapping out to play a lot of creatures for no reason. I tried to keep ahead of all of the opponents but it was a loosing battle when the Ob player got his Cabal Coffers with Urborg, tomb of the yagmoth there was just no stopping the beat down. The final straw was Ob playing Strip Mine with Crucible of Worlds to start destroying all my lands. So the game ended in defeat for both me and my "King" but the deck made some fun and interesting(annoying for others) plays. Can't wait to test it out again.
