A fun EDH deck about giving your stuff away, drawing way too many cards, and potentially marrying everyone at the table together.

The deck revolves around Zedruu the Greathearted's passive, so your goal is to appease everyone at the table with gifts until you set up your defenses. Once you do so you should be drawing a decent handful of cards every turn. Then there are a few cards + combos that let you win.

There is one infinite combo in this deck (that I am aware of): Consecrated Sphinx + Laboratory Maniac + Wedding Ring On their turn, when they draw a card you can draw 2 with sphinx, which makes them draw 2. As long as you have more cards than them, you deck out and win. yay

You may just win with Laboratory Maniac + Zedruu the Greathearted on their own, especially with some help from Alhammarret's Archive and Paradox Haze.

Finally, Approach of the Second Sun has your back as well.

However, why just win? You are drawing so many cards, might as well have some fun with them. Why not use Clever Impersonator + Phyrexian Metamorph + Wedding Ring to slam 3 rings into play, thus marrying everyone at the table together! It is the ultimate group hug, because everyone shares in everyone else's cards and life. For all of your hard work, you get 3 times the reward from your 3 rings. Then win.

Man I hope that all of this shared card draw doesn't deck anyone out. That would be a shame.

Oh, did you know that (in most places) you need a license to marry people? I'm pretty sure that Zedruu does not have the required paperwork. Or consent from all parties now that I think about it. No matter, as anyone who has played monopoly knows jail is the safest place to be.

Speaking of jail, here is your classic defensive enchantment package with Solitary Confinement and Sphere of Safety keeping you nice and safe in that solitary cell for illegally marrying everyone.

And like monopoly, while in jail you can still collect large amounts of money. Curse of Opulence and Smothering Tithe will generate a large amount of treasure and gold for you to hoard whilst everyone fights each other. Bonus points if you use Mirrormade with Smothering Tithe.

There are some cards that are just too much fun to hoard all to yourself. Some of my favourites are:

• The ticking time-bomb that is Illusions of Grandeur. Its just too much fun to pass up.

• Statecraft is a nice defensive enchantment, especially when you have a bunch of hired goons to talk to their creatures for you. However, when someone has been particularly naughty I like giving it to them so they can't cause any more trouble.

Many other enchantments don't care who controls them, so you can give them away to whomever you want as long as you have enough to keep Sphere of Safety effective.

But don't be afraid to hand away a good card! It is a great way to make friends at the table if you are in a tough spot. Just remind them that the card goes away when you die.

Many fantastic cards also give themselves away; Akroan Horse, Bucknard's Everfull Purse, Humble Defector, Perplexing Chimera, and Pendant of Prosperity. Honorable mention goes to Vedalken Plotter. Why destroy lands when you can... appropriate them?

Lastly, our illegal marriage officiant turned war-profiteer Zedruu has invited a few prominent guests to attend the wedding:

You don't have to invite them if you don't want to. I just don't have any other deck I care about enough to put them in.
