Draw cards, draw cards, draw cards! Such a fun deck even when you lose! Get a huge hand filled with cards, play Omniscience and you win the game.

Ramp into a large creature usually one with hexproof/shroud to ensure that it stays on the battlefield until it's time to drop Zegana. If these creatures aren't in your hand, copy a large creature that your opponent controls then cast your commander. Boom, draw a bunch of cards! Hopefully on Zegana's ETB trigger you draw into Omniscience, if not repeat Zegana's trigger by casting a copy spell or a flicker trick with Deadeye Navigator. Having a [Lorescale Coatl] or [Chasm Skulker] on board when Zegana's ETB triggers, makes them get out of hand very quickly and grow exponentially with Zegana's card draw triggering on their power. Omniscience is used to cast everything in your hand for free, use Long-term plans to help find it. There are many counterspells (control magic) to protect your game plan. You'll have a ton of cards so Foil is a free counterspell by discarding an island and a card from your hand. Use these only if it saves you from losing the game or if someone is disrupting your key pieces.

Your opponents will usually have removal ready for your biggest creature to mitigate Zegana's card draw. These help you avoid that removal. Simic Sky Swallower (Shroud) Multani, Maro-Sorcerer (shroud) Great whale, Cast this and then cast Zegana once the mana is untapped. You'll catch them by surprise.

If you don't have a card in play that allows for no max hand size, avoid playing a land when you cast Zegana, you might end up drawing [Reliquary Tower].

IDEAL CREATURES TO HAVE ON BOARD WHEN ZEGANA ENTERS THE BATTLEFIELD Psychosis Crawler, deals damage to each opponent for each cards you draw. Create a copy of Zegana with cards such as Clone, Clever impersonator, Progenitor mimic or Phyrexian Metamorph and watch how many cards you'll draw. Your opponents won't stand much of a chance with such insane card advantage. There are times where you get to a point that milling yourself is the option to win. (45/45 [Lorescale Coatl], cast a copy spell of Zegana and mill yourself out. Just make sure you have [Laboratory Maniac] on the battlefield.

This deck is very resilient and very focused. Land is where I can make upgrades but due to my large list of decks, I prioritize multiple decks over getting fetch/pain lands for each of my decks.

Of all my decks, this is my favorite. Have fun trying it!
