Tournament Results (Retirement) —April 22, 2014

So in my standard tradition of when one of my pauper decks piloted by myself wins a pauper tournament I retire the deck from play.

Today I went to my LGS for our weekly pauper tournament, another player did not have deck ready so I lent him death-is-life-pauper to play in the tournament.

Well as it happened he went 2-0 in the first 2 rounds and surprise surprise this puppy went 2-0 in my matches.

We ended up matched up in the final and I went 2-0 against death-is-life-pauper for a 3-0-0 tournament win.

So I will no longer be playing this deck tournament play and have started a new brew to add to the mix. my Orzhof pauper is still in circulation as "technically" it did not win the tournament it came in second to "Zero to 60..."

Have no fear though now that I have retired 2 of the decks in this format I am working on another one that should be quite fun also.

Iroas is a mythic rare, where as this deck is a pauper deck. All the cards in this format are commons. Also, Iroas is a 4 cast while all other cards in this deck are 1-2 drops. It's simply too slow for this deck
