I play similar deck on pauper t2 tournaments near me. 1st place 3 times in a row now. Based more on cheap bestows that keep falling down as creatures ready to be enchanted again. Check it out if you want. Might get you some ideas. Pauper T2 Aggro, 1 Place

I know this is going a bit out of the pauper build, but have you ever considered using Fabled Hero or Gift of Orzhova i feel like it would do wonders with you're heroic procs early game

rubyvnine See comment #9 in current thread :) I am considering a non pauper aggro deck at some point when I get bored of playing this one.

matteus400 Firstly congratz on #1 in tops. Secondly, do you have a sideboard? I want to play FNM with some friends this week and I was thinking of making this deck for one of them because they don't have a standard deck.

Ravexburn I do not currently have a sideboard but here are some ideas as to what could go into one.
3x Auramancer
That would make a decent sideboard for the deck I think if you need to whip one out quick.

update to sideboard
Rootborn Defenses would rock in the sideboard.

slooperman That's awesome and to think that one Gods Willing in your hand you could have basically countered the bounce and won against your other deck.
Whenever I play it I try to always keep the Gods Willing in my hand to give instant protection for a big hero if someone tries a removal.

Gods Willing is super nice. I use a lot of spot protection for the many removal cards that are being played now.

Only $2.25 on MTGO! I'm going to get it tonight and see how it does. +1 from me! Only thing I wish is that you could add Sacred Foundry to really guarentee the mana base is solid, but there isn't much more you can do at the pauper level. :D

fadetoblack1183 It is becoming rapidly evident that people really want to see a non Pauper version of this deck. Maybe I will whip one up soon, the toughest part is going to be trying to ensure that the speed is maintained.
The Sacred Foundry is for sure going to be part of the land base in the update and Fabled Hero will be replacing or being added in above Akroan Skyguard .

I do not know much about Pauper, but maybe these cards can help you.
Mortal's Ardor ,Leave No Trace ,Gift of Granite ,Chosen by Heliod ,Holy Strength ,Divine Favor ,Triclopean Sight ,Stand Firm ,Mighty Leap ,Dust Corona .

Hey, Heads up, Stand Firm , in the sideboard, is NOT Standard. I do not know if that matters when playing Pauper, but just incase, there ya go. :)
Interesting deck. Easily +1 because fun, and i want to see this 10$ deck be an awesome foil deck :)

Thanks for the heads up I was just taking cool suggestions and adding them to maybe board for anyone that wants to build the deck.
xTCBxNightmare Thanks for the vote -> So far I have all of the lands save one Guildgate in foil and a good number of the spells/creatures. Should be able to foil the entire deck pretty soon. Then onto tweaking and testing the Populate Slivers Standard Pauper that I am working on as my next one.

dsheldo2 I had Hopeful Eidolon in the deck before but it just did not work so I replaced with Nyxborn Shieldmate
March 12, 2014 1:26 a.m.
I play the non pauper version of this deck, lifelink can be huge when playing against pesky pauper elf decks or pauper delver decks.
March 12, 2014 1:28 a.m.
MadScientist says... #24
This deck is Standard Pauper so delver and elf is not really a concern . Eidolon is a powerful card I have to agree and if I went non standard I would probably put it back in but in this decks current state it actually is no benefit over the nyxborn.
One day I might do a non pauper version, we'll see!

T1 hopeful eidolonT2 Double etheral armor swing 7. gain 7.
That has no benefit?

Nice deck! In the playtest, I had problems with the Mana, but nothing alarming about it.
