I bought the Lorehold Legacies precon mostly for Monologue Tax and Archaeomancer's Map , but had the rest of the deck left over. An EDHREC article reminded me that Zirda, the Dawnwaker is a card that exists, and I went 'ah yes, time to build a deck with a pretty big restriction, but I can do combos'. Unfortunately, a lot of good combos are lost due to not having activated abilities but Boros Makes Do. I'm going with Osgir as the commander instead of Zirda because I wanted to impose this restriction on myself and challenge myself to not rely on the white staples ( Smothering Tithe , Anointed Procession , Map, and Tax).
