Building a Gorgon-themed EDH deck using Damia, Sage of Stone as Commander. Limited Gorgons to work with, so adopted Snakes to join the brood. All creatures are either Gorgons or Snakes (including Shamans) with the exception of Melira, Sylvok Outcast; who as an outcast I could make an exception and some half-ass story line for...

Whilst Hythonia the Cruel is probably the actual Gorgon focus, she is only effective for a board wipe if Gorgons are all that is in play.

I did have a side-focus on Snakes and the Infect/Poison effect (10 poison counters on enemy = they lose) but had troubles with sourcing some older cards (such as Crypt Cobra ) and needed to prune the deck down to 100 and wanted to stick with Gorgons. There is still a fair slice in there, but it may not be a viable win condition in all games.

Vraska the Unseen was stumbled upon, fits the Gorgon theme, and looks like she throws a new spanner in the works! 1/1 Assassins that can win the game! Can't wait to make those sexy tokens!

Shame can't use Phyrexian Unlife , combo this with Melira, Sylvok Outcast would stop you from losing the game until you can win! Certainly something to consider if making an Infect-focused deck.
