Wanted to build an extended deck, so sadly had to leave out things like Death Baron and Undead Warchief (don't worry, those go in my Legacy zombie deck). Since my favorite lords are out, I've included Adaptive Automaton instead. Who doesn't like a good robot zombie once in awhile?

In testing this, I've done nicely early in the game, but struggled to sustain. I threw in some cards like Grave Titan and Endless Ranks of the Dead to beef-up my late game.

Let me know what you think! This deck's nemeses are a GW creature-heavy "when-____-enters-the-battlefield..." deck, and a UR Burn/Control deck. Surgical Extraction, Despise, Distress, and Deathmark (vs GW) are all handy to get rid of Thragtusk, Vexing Devil, Cloudshift, Oblivion Ring and others. I moved most of that to the sideboard here in favor of more zombies and more kills spells. (Also, Despise is always a fun first turn if I don't have Gravecrawler or Diregraf Ghoul -- nice to start the game knowing what they have)

I'm just now returning to Magic after many years off, so I'm not as familiar with newer cards. Any advice welcome! Remember I'm trying to keep this version legal for extended.

Updates Add

Was having some trouble vs. exceptionally creature-heavy decks. Sideboarded Adaptive Automaton for more 1x Despise and 2x Deathmark (was playing vs. G/W and mono-W).

Also, while Vile Rebirth is nice to take out other Gravecrawlers and things with flashback, I'm really enjoying Quest for the Gravelord vs. creature-heavy decks. Three deaths usually happen within one or two turns, and a 5/5 Zombie is always welcome on the battlefield, even simply as a distraction.
