You should take out the automaton for either Death Baron , Lord of the Undead , or Undead Warchief . Why have a generic lord when zombies have so many great specialized lords! =)

Also, I highly recommend looking at Zombiés Dominí (Mono-Black) for ideas. It is the best mono-black zombie deck I have ever seen.

Great suggestion! I originally thought of Death Baron instead of Adaptive Automaton , but then I realized it is not legal in Extended. I mostly play against friends though, so Death Baron might need to go on my "Want" list for casual games...

I have a friend who uses Skinrender a lot. It's a decent card, if a little high on mana, but a vanilla 3/3 that usually kills something on entering isn't going to be a dead card. You might want to consider using Mutilate rather than Killing Wave since you're running mono-black.

comatoseeffect, I've been going back and fourth on Mutilate vs. Killing Wave for awhile now. At the moment, I'm liking Killing Wave a little better since it can be played sooner, and may also damage my opponent. Mutilate is certainly tempting though!

I went ahead and threw a couple Skinrender s in, though. I don't think I'll regret it!
