Here's my version. Passive Aggressive. You need a sac outlet for free. Demonmail HauberkMTG Card: Demonmail Hauberk is usually a game ender when 2 zombies including GravecrawlerMTG Card: Gravecrawler and Blood ArtistMTG Card: Blood Artist are out. Falkenrath NobleMTG Card: Falkenrath Noble would also fit in nicely.

I'll give Demonmail HauberkMTG Card: Demonmail Hauberk a try. Thanks!

Killing WaveMTG Card: Killing Wave isnt really good because it gives the opponent the choice...if hes wiinning hede easily pay life, if not some lands or creatures...technically you waste an entire turn/mana on an opponent and they still have the upper hand..

for board sweep probs use Black Sun's ZenithMTG Card: Black Sun's Zenith its very efficient. not bad though

When I look at Killing WaveMTG Card: Killing Wave to me it is usefull if you play it for about 3->6 mana make the choice hard for them. you also need more direct damage spells to make it worth it in your deck. Black Sun's ZenithMTG Card: Black Sun's Zenith is pure creature control which would work better in this deck seeing as that seems to be the theme with the other spells.

I use Killing WaveMTG Card: Killing Wave on myself for a cost of one swamp to wipe my creatures out while Blood ArtistMTG Card: Blood Artist is out, then they all come back.

Try adding sone MountainMTG Card: Mountain and a few Diabolic TutorMTG Card: Diabolic Tutor and 2 or 3 Defiler of SoulsMTG Card: Defiler of Souls that would help the sac aspect of it

or if you don't want to add mountain add 2 Eldrazi MonumentMTG Card: Eldrazi Monument that would make your creatures indestructable and you have to sac one each turn to keep it on the field

Added a few Black Sun's ZenithMTG Card: Black Sun's Zenith. Does it remove the +1 +1 on my undying creatures?

Hammer, neither Defiler of SoulsMTG Card: Defiler of Souls nor Eldrazi MonumentMTG Card: Eldrazi Monument are standard.

This deck seems like it's becoming divided with it's self. On one hand you have things that can work fantastically well like the Blood ArtistMTG Card: Blood Artist, GravecrawlerMTG Card: Gravecrawler and Demonmail HauberkMTG Card: Demonmail Hauberk sac combo. Then you have Undying effects that mix -1/-1 counters on creatures to maintain an upper hand, but then there's Black Sun's ZenithMTG Card: Black Sun's Zenith to take out your Blood ArtistMTG Card: Blood Artist? I know you can slap an Undying EvilMTG Card: Undying Evil on him but you won't always have that. I feel like it will end up with either blood artist gone and more counter manipulation for undying effects, or blood artist stays and undying creatures are a tool used to gain the upper hand. Personally I was a fan of the Zombie ApocalypseMTG Card: Zombie Apocalypse, and Killing WaveMTG Card: Killing Wave version. Also, Where's the 4x Altar's ReapMTG Card: Altar's Reap? it's perfect for this deck.

I wasn't so sure about Black Sun's ZenithMTG Card: Black Sun's Zenith. I'll throw Killing WaveMTG Card: Killing Wave back in. Altar's ReapMTG Card: Altar's Reap is awesome! It's very similar to Scarscale RitualMTG Card: Scarscale Ritual. Thanks for the advise!

Just noticed that Black Cat in your maybe board. Try that out instead of the Fume Spitter and see how it goes. I think it would help get Gravecrawler back onto the field if need be.

That's what i was thinking. The "discard a card at random" effect on the Black Cat can be really powerful.

CrimsonKing says... #20

Bloodthrone Vampire would be nice but i need zombie synergy for Gravecrawler and fuel for Mortarpod .

July 7, 2012 1:12 a.m.

Thank you sir. I just ran this at FNM and it finally broke my 2-3 streak. I went 3-2. Thank you.

July 7, 2012 3:08 a.m.

CrimsonKing says... #22

That's great! I went 3-0 tonight too! I was staring at a Shrine of Burning Rage with 12 counters on it lol it was scary, manage to Mortarpod my Highborn Ghoul for the final blow.

July 7, 2012 3:15 a.m.

Does Mortarpod make this deck that much better? My two losses were to Mirran Crusader. That card rolled right over me, especially when a sword or angelic destiny made it's way onto him. I forgot to sideboard in some proc or hexproof killers. Barter in blood would have worked too. I absolutely love this deck though. It's fun, and it's almost like your opponent can do nothing against the damage he takes, because it's sac damage. What do you do against swords or enchantments?

July 7, 2012 10:50 a.m.

CrimsonKing says... #24

I use Distress for enchantments and artifacts but that's it. It's this decks biggest weakness.

@CptMalReynolds

You can throw some Despise in to discard their Mirran Crusader
