Casting cost. This deck's goal is to be really fast. It basically functions like a black goblin deck.

Have you considered running mutilate... possibly in place of killing wave? Got enough black mana to make it viable, and with blood artist and your undying zombies... could deal a deadly blow, pump your life and give you creature advantage heading into the next turn... Just a thought.

i just built a deck with pretty much the same mechanics.That makes me feel better since this is the top deck in the zombie hub. I'm guessing crimson king is for the band king crimson, if not the are ba and you should listen to them.

There's a Crimson King in Steven King's The Darktower series of books. Perhaps he was influenced by King Crimson...?

So how did you set up your sideboard. I have Killing Wave and Sever the Bloodline for tokens, Wooden Stake for vamps, I hate first strike, and Mana Leak for control. I'm trying to set mine up for post rotation.
Duress looks good.

Killing Wave for tokens and Mutilate for other board wipe. Duress helps with getting rid of artifacts and enchantments since i have no other way to destroy them. If i'm playing against back I switch out the Highborn Ghoul with Black Cat . Despise for planeswalkers and Surgical Extraction for Mana Leak and other problematic cards. After ravinca hits I'm making this extended so i can add Bloodghast !

You do have 8 removal and for (1) more mana you can make card:Geth's Verdict into Murder . I'd say lose a messenger but you have mono black so i'm sure its easy to get out. Is your deck bad against a deck w/ flyers?

I'd love to have your take on my Zombie Rush deck. I plan on adding card:Altar's Reap now but what is your plan for artifact control decks like the popular Tezzeret build? They are the only ones currently giving me trouble.

My plan is to outpace them. Hex Parasite is really good against plains walkers like Tezzeret. I just have to out pace them. I'll look at your deck. Would be awesome to pit zombie vs zombie!

card:Black Sun's Zenith gets around Hexproof AND Protection from Black....
Nim Deathmantle would be absolutely stupid in this deck lol.
