thanks! Wondering what to put in its place. My local shop lets us play those, but I checked the rules, and yeah, its not legal

I would personally be hesitant to run anything less than 35 lands unless you intend to run more mana ramp.

this one has gone back to the drawing board while I work on getting more lands into it

I really like card:Pemmin's Aura in my Grim-Grin deck. It gives you that untap ability plus some other utility.

y u no Necrotic Ooze ?
There is a multitude of infinite combos between it and Grimgrin, even in these 2 colors.
Terramorphic Expanse and Evolving Wilds really make no sense in 2-color decks.

I haven't really looked at any Return to Ravnica cards yet, so overlooked Grave Betrayal . I'm also going to fit in Necrotic Ooze , and will look at card:Pemmin's Aura

I'd take out card:Life's Finale for Nightmare Incursion .. Maybe throw in Contamination to go with Gravecrawler for laughs. Check out my Korlash deck for more Zombie ideas.

I'd throw in Diregraf Captain maybe Death Baron both seem they'd benefit this deck a good bit.

Mikeyj,
Great deck I really like the mass-reanimation sub-theme (+1). Here are some suggestions.
With all the mass-reanimation you run I am surprised you don't run Balthor the Defiled or Wonder to make your hordes fly.
A great way to do some real MASS-reanimation is to run some self-milling like Traumatize (which also combos with the Undead Alchemist ) and Tunnel Vision which you can use to tunnel into your mass-reanimation to really make a bang.
All self-milling and mass-reanimation combos well with Tombstone Stairwell and of course Grimgrin loves said cards because he has a never-ending hunger.
I hope you can make time to come check out my zombie-themed attrition deck and rate/comment. Grimgrin the Ravenous

I've picked up a Tunnel Vision and have been looking for a Traumatize . Really hadn't thought about those for the deck, especially as Tunnel Vision is played offensively in my meta by being combined with Hinder or Spell Crumple .
Wonder was in an initial build of the deck, but was cut due to not being on theme. I've got him in a pile of "maybes" though, so he might get back into the game.
Same goes with Balthor the Defiled . I had him in for a while, but he doesn't hit zombies with his +1/+1 ability, and he is only a one-shot use for his activated ability. I might look into bringing him back, but I've held off on it for now

I am not sure if your deck has as much of a problem with fliers as mine does but I had to make several changes to deal with the problem. I hope my previous suggestions have helped I had the opportunity to play the Traumatize Undead Alchemist combo before I removed them from my deck it was an epic milling victory. I laughed myself into tears. I hope you have the pleasure sometime.

I put Wonder back in for a few games, and just couldn't do it. While he's fun to play with (no one expects FLYING zombies!) he's just not on theme, and I tend to build my decks more to theme than to power (check out my Horde of Elementals to see more proof!)
I have had a LOT of fun with Traumatize /Undead Alchemist ! People just don't see it coming. Same with using Tunnel Vision on my own deck!
I've made a couple of changes, and will have to update the decklist soon

I've also been planning some Theros additions. Whip of Erebos seems like the perfect thing to include, as well as Erebos, God of the Dead and Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver for utility and maybe Psychic Intrusion

Nice, give you +1! But drop the Bringer(s), they all are WURBG-Color-Idetity due to their alternative casting cost.
