With this deck i'm trying to bring some amonketh WB zombie strategies in my ol'mono black zombie deck. It was barely competitive already at the time i built it and i want to refresh it a little, but i'm not a competitive player, i'm a collector, so probably i have done some mistakes. Here's the strategy and my thoughts about some weak spots that I could not solve alone. I have already many of these cards and my budget is low. (sideboard will be added after the errors in this deck will be solved) Of course the main strategy is to build the swarm of tokens that will form the main offensive during the game. The tokens will provide, with the cheaper creatures like the Gravecrawler and the Diregraf Ghoul, the completion of the Quest for the Gravelord and will ensure me some healing through the effects of Wayward Servant and Anointer Priest. Cheap removals are added for defending the healers and Diregraf Colossus, my early to mid game token generator. The Haunted Dead is added for defending me from flying creatures while still provide zombies and tokens for other combos. The perfect scenario will have my 1 mana creature and/or a first group of tokens do enough kills (or dying enough times) for a efficient early usage of token generators and removals. With my health protected for enough time by healings, the play should end in my favour in 8 turns i think, or less, with a base of 4 to 6 tokens always of the field plus the other zombies. Now, the weak spots, they are many, i know. I'm for sure defenseless againts creatureless decks, decks with many vigilance and flying creatures and more specialized token and lifelink based decks. Also, i feel this deck quick, but not enough, i know that modern games will end in 4 turns in most cases. Maybe, should i find a way to generate more mana and tokens with Embalmer's Tools and Altar's Reap? or should i try to become more resistent and dangerous with cards like the Cemetery Reaper or the Undead Warchief?
