for a zombie deck, you will want Lord of the Undead Cemetery Reaper Undead Warchief and Zombie Master . better removal would be Geth's Verdict and Dismember . Good look winning!

Are you planning on going more zombie tribal? Or just graveyard recursion where you sacrifice your creatures to trigger morbid and bring them back. If you want to go more of a tribal, include more zombie lord types like Droxium stated above and play creatures and beat him down.

If you want to trigger morbid for Skirsdag and play with your graveyard, I would run 4x Bloodghast . One or two Buried Alive can dump your gravecrawlers and bloodghasts into the graveyard. I would run 4x Blood Artist over blood seekers. And run either Viscera Seer or Thoughtpicker Witch for a sacrifice outlet over Mortarpod because you want to abuse it, and Mortarpod costs too much mana to equip. It is banned in most formats because it is simply broken, but if your friend allows it, definitely run a couple Skullclamp , maybe just one or two to be fair. By using these cards, morbid will be incredibly easy to trigger for Skirsdag and tragic slip. 4x of Gatekeeper of Malakir is amazing, you get a 2/2 and a removal for only 3 mana. You can tweak the creature base to have enough zombies to activate gravecrawlers ability and have the percentage of zombies you want.

Also if he runs army of the damned or something that produces mass amounts of 2/2's, consider Black Sun's Zenith or Mutilate to reset the board.

One important note; I want to keep the deck on budget. Blood Artist is a lot better than Blood Seeker , but I happen to have the Seeker already and the Artist is expensive. You are right though, he would work better here! Especially if he starts playing with mass tokens.

What I like about Mortarpod is that he comes with a free Germ for sacking. It's also an artifact so he is going to have trouble removing it because he is playing black and it's also nice for Phylactery Lich .

I'm going to have to say Diregraf will be better when you run more aggro. Porcelain legionnaire doesnt help you at all, it isnt a very great card, nor would it benefit from zombie tribal. I would really consider blood artists, at a little less than 2$, they really help the deck. Otherwise, run another 4x of another zombie, blood seekers will only be dealing maybe a couple damage a game, and you would rather have a 3/3 that attacks each turn.

This deck really wants to run around at least 4 zombie lords, such as Blood Baron because otherwise, there is not much of a reason to even go zombies as you get no benefits. However i know those are expensive, so look through the possibilities and try and find one of the cheap ones. 4x of Cemetery Reaper is probably your cheapest choice, and maybe a 1x Undead Warchief if you could afford it.

I would probably go Skinrender , at only 4 artifacts, getting that counter will be near difficult. You'll probably need at least 10 to make the Lich a viable choice. I see that you have Quest for the Gravelord in your maybeboard, i would probably run a couple of those as an alternative.

Nice deck, have you thought about using Carrion Feeder as a sac outlet for Gravecrawler ? Also,I noticed Porcelain Legionnaire doesn't really fit with the zombie theme, if you looking for a 3CMC first striker, Phyrexian Crusader is really deadly and can be an instant win with Lashwrithe

Hey Moorbeta, I was looking for a strong 2CMC creature, Porcelain Legionnaire fits the bill, since I pay the phyraxian mana with life and not mana ;-)
