thanks for the suggestion, but this guy is a little bit too slow i think - however i will add him to the maybeboard and test it by time :)

Linessa, Zephyr Mage is a thing too. Although it may be slow.

You might also consider Reality Strobe

Also Hibernation for the sideboard. Green can get out of control quickly.

Hibernation seems great for sideboarding, thanks!

It'd require an additional splash of white, but Personal Sanctuary so you can have Zo-Zu out and you can play land without taking damage.

I was thinking about that already, but i'd rather take 2 or 4 dmg from ZoZu myself for not splashing white and not using fetchlands to fix mana aswell. thanks for the suggestion tho

i take that on the maybeboard list but i think Crack the Earth is better tempo based especially with snapcaster mage

I would take out the Scalding Tarn s for two more Ghost Quarter . I know that in general, you always want fetch lands because they are incredibly good, but I feel like in this deck it doesn't work as well. If somehow you draw into one after you already have Zo-zu out it's a dead card in your hand. To activate it's ability you would have to deal 5 damage to yourself yourself and it just isn't worth it in my mind. also, Ghost Quarter 's ability not only gets rid of lands, but shocks the opponent too.
But I love the project. It looks very interesting. +1

that's a very good point, it's a bit weird because i actually never did the math with zozu and playing a fetch myself, because zozu is not the main win con here and i added the fetches later.
However i'm a bit scared of running 10 lands producing colorless mana on their own with a ton of double colored spells (1RR, UU, 1UUU spell costs)

I changed the deck alot recently without adjusting the manabase, and i have to admit.. Ghost Quarter has become my first choice over Tectonic Edge because the game plan resolves around preventing my opponent from getting to 4 lands anyways, so the tec-edges look awkward to be honest
