Hey guys, I'm pretty new to EDH (only have a Derevi and Zur deck at the moment, used to have Marrow-Gnawer which was fun but was a bit of a one-trick pony) and I tried my hand at making a semi-casual Zur the Enchanter deck. I don't have the land base figured out quite yet, but the rest is fairly complete with a few cards left on the "maybe" list.

It's a fairly straightforward multiplayer prison deck, using cards like Ghostly Prison, Propaganda, and Sphere of Safety to lock opponents out from attacking you while you build up card advantage with things like Phyrexian Arena and Rhystic Study to pillow fort your way to an eventual win.

There are only a few "combos" in the deck (although I'm not sure if I'd even call them combos). These are Enchanted Evening paired with either Opalescence or Starfield of Nyx. This destroys all lands in play (unfortunately only yours if you use starfield so make sure you have the win on board if you do this. Alternatively, Elesh Norn saves your lands as they become 2/2s) and turns all of your enchantments into creatures that can beat face for big damage. I consider this a secondary win condition, however, as Enchanted Evening also has fantastic (read: game winning) synergy with Ethereal Armor. This allows the deck to go either tall or wide as needed and lets it win games in several different ways.

It's a super fun deck, and for me at least it's only lost a few times (mostly against my friend's competitive Sen Triplets deck since he's in my colors and can play all of my cards) so I hope you guys like it and might give it a try!
