Replacing Cards I never play —Jan. 2, 2019

So, I noticed, after a few plays that, while I absolutely LOVE this deck, there are things about it that seem unnecessary and some that need tweaking in general.

First, I removed as many taplands as I can. I still have to go through the cards and mark which lands I have.

But, Blind Obedience and Kismet weren't netting me any value. They don't push the objective forward, and while Extort is nice, it frankly wasn't worth having two cards I never play.

As such, I have removed them and added Second Chance and Helm of Obedience.

Second Chance allows me to combo into infinite turns assuming that I have Vedalken Mastermind in play. I can simply bounce it back after trigger Necropotence down to a certain level. The best part is Necropotence's ability is instant speed and cant be countered, as the life loss is a cost. So, once I have Second Chance in play, I'm good to go. I can dig through a bunch of cards and hopefully nab a tutor, or even Hannah if I'm not able to get Vedalken Mastermind into play.

Helm of Obedience was an obvious add, as it perma mills my opponent's deck for 2 mana. That's really hard to beat. Each turn I can mill/exile someone's deck for two mana which is pretty great.

ADDITIONAL STUFF: I didn't have a Teferi's Veil actually in the deck yet, as I still needed to acquire one. However, now that I do, I can determine if it's as good as I think it is. Once I get a chance to play it, I'll see how good it really is.

I need to find a place for Cyclonic Rift as well. It's an auto add in any blue EDH deck, and I've been meaning to add one for a while.
