Maybeboard

This is my first attempt at an EDH deck following the Duel (Or "French") Commander ruleset. For those who are unfamiliar with this format, you can find more information on it here.

Basically, it has a different ban list, and a much more competitive metagame. It plays at 30 life instead of 40, and most decks keep the CMC way down in order to combat the faster format. Also, aggro decks are a real thing, and are about 40% of the format.

=======================================================

Zur the Enchanter is played as a combo/control deck, with the main win condition being Helm of Obedience and Rest in Peace, which instantly mills your opponents library after you activate the helm. You can also apply lots of pressure with efficient aura's to put on Zur, via Steel of the Godhead or Daybreak Coronet.

Zur is also a fantastic card advantage engine, searching for enchantments that answer those pesky things your opponent keeps doing, such as Detention Sphere, Oblivion Ring, or Journey to Nowhere.

Let me know what you guys think, and if any of you are very familiar with the format, I'd love some advice as I've never played it before.

Thanks!
