Hello everyone, this is the second deck i've made for EDH.

I was interested in making a deck that had the enchantment Solemnity as the core, and there is no better man for the job than Zur himself. You'll notice that i'm lacking some of the most popular cards that are run in these kind of Solemnity lists, like Phyrexian Unlife, Geralf's Messenger and so on, and you'd be right, and i have two big reasons for it. The first one is that i wanted to implement mostly cards from the Time Spiral block, since it's my favourite block in Magic mechanic-wise. And the second reason is that i didn't want to spend too much money into the deck, since i kinda lack the funds for a more optimized deck.

This idea started when i was looking through cards that had some sort of synergy with this cool card, and i found what i believe was worthy enough to make a deck for, i'm talking about Lost Auramancers, who's job in here is to be a budget version of Academy Rector, putting any enchantment directly into play from the library when he dies to our Martyr's Cause and, contrary to his pricey counterpart, can be ressurected and sacrificed to repeat the process. "But he has to die to his Vanishing ability for you to Rector!" some of you would say, well, that's what Solemnity is for, since time counters can't be put on him he'll trigger on death no problem. And what am i bringing with his ability, you ask? Well, i can't afford an Omnisciense so i'm settling for the classic Decree of Silence + Solemnity combo, that allows us to play Magic while the other players can't. If, for some reason we cannot have access to Decree of Silence, we can look for other great, although not immediately-game-winning big encantments, such as Overwhelming Splendor, Cruel Reality, Debtors' Knell (to ressurect Auramancers every turn), etc. Our plan B in case Lost Auramancers is also dealt with we have Chronozoa for infinite, non-exiling wrath proof flying tokens for us to kill everyone with. And we have various cards to tutor out these wincons, like Dimir House Guard, a regular Diabolic Tutor and my favourite method, using Fleshwrither's unique Transfigure ability to put them directly into play. There's also Geralf's Mindcrusher for another infinite combo, but he costs a whole 6 mana so usually my other combos go online before this one, and Puppeteer Clique, which doesn't win on the spot, but it's very cool to steal all other creatures from your opponents graveyards and hit them with them before getting them exiled.

So what would happen if Solemnity itself is dealt with? Well then we'll just go to our plan C, which is buff Zur up with Empyrial Armor, Ethereal Armor, Steel of the Godhead, Battle Mastery, Phyresis, etc. so we can kill off anyone either through commander damage or poison counters. And i'm sure i'm missing other sinergies with Solemnity in the deck.

I'm not the greatest deckbuilder around so i'm very open to suggestions.
