Combo, stax, voltron hybrid deck for playgroups that don't mind MLD/stax/combo. There is the Sun Titan+ Gift of Immortality+ sac outlet combo. There is the Karmic Guide+ Reveillark+ sac outlet combo. There are a number of stax artifacts and MLD to oppress opponents after Zurgo comes into play. There is the voltron suite, Assault Suit, Sunforger and Batterskull get Zurgo above 10 power for a 2-hit kill, or one hit with Temur Battle Rage or Hatred. The deck is currently missing slots for more tutors, Imperial Seal and Grim Tutor, reflecting my budget restrictions in paper magic.

Based on an excellent Zurgo combo deck, whose designer I don't know. I found it browsing user, theovermind's, page. Reference deck here: It forgoes the voltron package for more stax. Also used suggestions from this interesting reddit thread, created by another Zurgo player, pyrothemaniac: Reddit link.

Edit: Testing Maralen of the Mornsong+ Stranglehold lock. Swapped out Academy Rector to try this.
