Anyone else notice this year's presidential candidates are Lex Luthor versus Granny Goodness?

American politics is a never ceasing show of horrors and befuddlement. As a Canadian I wish you guys would cobble together some form of regulation on your elections. And that they wouldn't start again the moment another one ends.

Lol. I'm seriously considering sitting out on this election. They're literally both my worst case scenario nominees.

It's literally deciding between which brand of human shit at this point. Trump is openly awful, but at least you know what you're dealing with him. Clinton pretends to be nice at the surface, but she's rotten to the core. Our choices this year are disgusting.

Not to be inflammatory but Canadian elections were equally a joke. You replaced an idiot with mr "current year"
As for ours, if is trump vs hillary, i choose trump. He owns his duechebaggery while Hillary constantly sells her soul to the highest bidder. That and "cmon it's [insert current year] we need a woman in the white house!" is not a valid argument for her presidency

Trump vs. Clinton? Now that's a cage match I would pay to watch.
On a real note, it's all a mess. Pointless mess to be quite precise. I'm moving to New Zealand now everyone, bye

Clinton may have acted wrongly quite a few times and in the interest of donors as opposed to others, but it's probably worth it to vote for her just to keep Trump out of the White House. The thing is, she always tries to do the most popular thing just to maintain support, so she'll probably just do popular things to get reelected, which won't happen. With Trump, inside the US we'd just have some conflicting things and Mitch McConnell politics where everybody just tries to block whatever he does. The problem with Trump comes in foreign policy, where no US allies will deal with us and positive progress and collaboration become nearly impossible.

Clinton is evil incarnate. Look into all the things she has done. She might not be openly bad like Trump is, but I definitely believe that she's morally bankrupt, and I don't want her representing my country. The problem is I don't want Trump as my president either. Ugh. This election man.

If Clinton is evil, then about three quarters or more of politicians in the world are. The best thing to do is probably look at policy proposals and judge from there, and pretty much any republican loses to almost any democrat currently in that area.

Clinton is a politician's politician. Whereas most politicians have made morally bankrupt deals in the effort of furthering their political career, Clinton's history is so littered with morally bankrupt decisions that it's just sickening. Clinton is an awful human being. None of the current politicians are great choices unfortunately. It's a choice between the scum of the earth that is Clinton and the giant turn that is Trump.

I'm probably going to vote for the libertarian candidate so I can live with myself for the next 4 years.

Just saying that policy proposals are the most relevant criteria when judging, and Trump loses big time on those to Hillary, whether you like her or not. Anyways, the next important thing is to get obstructionists like Mitch out of the senate. Hopefully we'll get somebody nice in four years, maybe Elizabeth Warren. Eh. I like every candidate except for some of the nut jobs and Donnie J Drumpflord.

I'm convinced there's a distinct possibility that Trump is actually a plant working for the Clintons to divide the Republican vote and secure the presidency for Hitlery.
If you look into it, there's a disturbing amount of evidence for the theory. Trump even endorsed Hillary at one point and said she would make a great president.

There's always Bernie ;P. Who would he be in this situation?

Is granny goodness the woman that said "what difference does it make?" when talking about recently killed American soldiers?
