Anyone have Windows 10 yet?

I just upgraded my laptop to Windows 10 and I was curious to see if anyone already had it. If you do have it, have you run into any bugs or glitches that seem to always come with a new Windows release? Everything is running fine for me so far, but W10 is only about five minutes old on my laptop so... eh.

W10 just looks cool. I've been messing around with it, reconfiguring some things, and it really is nice. I just uninstalled Elementary OS from my laptop yesterday (I had a dual partition with both Windows and Linux on it beforehand) and now this. Everything's running so smoothly too. It's pretty baller.

I usually wait 2-4 weeks after major releases like this to upgrade. Give them time to get out some of the inevitable bugs. I'll probably upgrade within the next week.
I don't hate 8 like many do, but I think the touchscreen makes a huge difference there. I couldn't use 8 without the touchscreen.

I didn't hate 8 either. I actually rather enjoyed it. I just want to see what 10 has to offer. (Besides Edge, that new 'net browser. I'm sticking with Chrome like I always have.)

I never updated my Windows 7 to 8. I might have to for 10, though.

If you have windows 10, I recommend your browser of choice be firefox now. It is far faster than any other browser I have on my system.

Sorry for second post, but if you just don't like firefox, then Edge is actually faster than chrome, but I stopped using it because I couldn't live without my autocard plug-in :c

i had 7 pro, upgraded to 10, flashing screen after install reboot, no drivers being recognized. had to revert back to 7, and then i started getting "update failed, please restart to install update" error. called microsoft tech support, was transferred to tier 2 tech support, still couldn't figure it out. had to nuke the computer and clean install back to 7, long and tedious process.
my personal opinion, wait for service pack 1 or wait for chrome OS

The same thing happened to my mom's computer. I'm a bit hesitant as I don't really have a reason to upgrade. I like Windows 7 as is.

Have Windows 10 on all my machines. Didn't hate 8...10 seems to be the best of all worlds.

I don't have it on my personal computer, however after upgrading several clients, there has been very few issues, but mostly drivers issue. On one, the touchpad wouldn't work, which wasn't bad since I use keyboard most of the time anyhow, but that was a bios issue, and i'm not sure if exclusive to Win 10. Easy fix. On another, the speakers wasn't putting out sound. Lower the bit rate fixed that, and was able to up it later with a new driver. On yet a different one, it would boot up to the log in screen, then go black when you logged in. However you could boot up into safe mode. so I uninstalled drivers, and it auto-reinstalled which fixed the issue. Acer didn't have an updated driver that works, but the resolution didn't bother the client. It's still on my list.
I think that's it really? Three out of six had some kind of issue, all of which was relatively easy to figure out and resolve. I have two other people who wants me to upgrade their computer so we'll see.

We use W10 on our stream laptop at my shop, and I personally like it so much more than W8. It's reminiscent of W7, and I really appreciate that.
