Anyone know anything about selling/buying comic books?

Ive got this stack of late 60's-mid 70's comic books that im looking to sell. ive never sold comics before. I found the values of all of them if they're near mint, but a lot of them are not. How does condition and grading work and effect the price of these?

Ohh the amount of typing I will have to do. There is a lot that comes along with trying to figure out the condition of just a single comic. Grading is a whole different story that involves shipping off the comics and paying for them to get a grade. That takes about $15-$25 per book if you go that route. Then whatever grade it is given determines the price/value of a single issue.
