Magic had taken up every moment of my waking hours but, now that I've eased off, I've gotten back more into playing games on my PC.

I introduced a friend of mine to FPS and his love of the genre spurred me to finish playing some old DLC.

I was part way through Bioshock Infinite: Burial at Sea Episode 1, almost at the end.

Once I finished that I was kind of interested as to where the story would go in Episode 2, so I fired that up.

It was a revelation. Spoilers to follow.

I absolutely LOVED how Episode 2 changed the game play.

I found the fact that you had to use stealth refreshing.

I enjoyed it so much that, as soon as I finished, I went through it again in 1998 mode.

The story was interesting. On my second play through even more pieces fell into place. Part of that was because you can't get any hints on where to go in 1998 mode, which kind of makes you explore areas a bit more thoroughly.

I haven't enjoyed myself this much in a game for a long time.

If you enjoy stealth, or want a break from pew pew, I would give this one a shot.

I actually just redownloaded Bioshock I last night to give the franchise a replay. From the very beginning, Bioshock sets itself apart from other franchises--after all, how many video games can you name whose entire premise is to debate a fifty year-old (at the time of Bioshock I's release), thousand-page novel?

While I felt Bioshock II lost some of the cerebral elements that made I fantastic, I loved how Infinite came back and addressed complex topics like religion and revolution. I felt the DLCs were the perfect capstone on the entire franchise, tying I and Infinite together in the kind of mind-bending way I'd expect from the franchise.

It's funny I have never played Bioshock II and still have no interest in doing so.

It is interesting how the first game addressed Atlas Shrugged.

TypicalTimmy will do.
