Civilization V MTG Mod

For those of you who like magic and play civ 5.

I have always wanted to make a mod for civ, and recently I thought it would be cool to make on mod(or a series of them) based on MTG, but I don't know what the mod would be based on(maybe the guilds or something, but I think that's already been done), and I don't know what the abilities would be, so I'm asking if anyone has any good suggestions

If you know how (I don't) you could make the 5 Clans. Maybe even using Barbarians as Dragons if that's possible.

It could be like

Abzan (Anafenza):

UA: Great Salt Road---> Cities connected to the capital give some amount more GPT

UB: Sandsteppe Citadell---> Something about lots of extra defense for cities. Replaces Walls?

UU: Krumar---> Units have 3 movement per turn and have a 25% combat bonus when not at full health. Replaces Swordsman

Jeskai (Narset):

UA: The Exquisite Hand---> Luxury Items give +1 Happiness

UB: School of Enlightenment---> Costs 300 production (or something around that) and gives 4 faith?

UU: Wandering Enforcer---> A legit upgrade to scout, as in actually useful in combat. Moves 3 tiles per turn and ignores terrain cost.

That's all I can think of for now

Perhaps for Jeskai, instead of the UB providing faith, it could provide culture so as to be compatible with vanilla...

Temur (Surrak):

UA: Ferocious ---> Melee units in enemy territory get +10% attack bonus

UB: Frontier Bivouac ---> Tundra tiles worked by this city provide +1 food.

UU: Bear Puncher ---> Replaces warrior, has a 10% combat bonus in rough terrain.

That should actually be +10% in friendly territory....

Wow, I actually forgot that vanilla doesn't have faith.

Also, I think Bear Puncher really makes sense either way, but I would think 10% bonus in rough terrain would be better. Imagine a wall of those sitting on forests blocking your army's path. Terrifying.

Sultai (Sidisi)

UA: Gold Hoarders ---> Whenever a unit dies you get 20% of its purchase cost refunded.

UB: Opulent Palace ---> Replaces Monument ---> Normal monument, but +1 gold

UU: Naga Archers ---> Replaces Archer ---> Can make movement after attacking.

TheHroth When you say +1 gold for Opulent Palace, do you mean that it gives no gold (monument has -1 maintenance) or really it gives +2 gold over monument?

+2 over vanilla monument, so +1 net.

mardu could be early game war based, maybe they could even have 2 UU and no UB, but I dont know

Maybe like this

Mardu (Zurgo/Alesha)

UA: Ramaging Raiders - Pillaging yields bonus gold. +50% Combat Strength on pillaged tiles.

UU: Firehoof CavalryReplaces HorsemanBonus movement speed and Reduced cost to pillage.

War Name AspirantReplaces SwordsmanVery low defense. Fully heals upon kill.

DTK Clans are things, ya know.

Kolaghan:

UA: To Ruin is To Rule: Buildings have -50% benefit. Units have +50% benefit. (or something like that).

UB: The Screamreach (wonder): Happiness +1, Units have +1 movement speed.

UU: Shriek Bandit: Steals gold every time it deals damage.

There could be expansion packs too, like Ravnica: City of Guilds.

I like the idea of an expansion to make the new dragons a thing but I wonder if there some sorta map that could be used to make a scenario of the dragons taking over.
