Hey guys, I'm making a new TCG and what better place to try and promote it then card sites. All That being said, the game will be called Galaxyite. I started up a Kickstarter for it with more information.

Thanks for checking it out!
EDIT:
If you have any questions or comments I would be happy to chime in and explain things more. Again Thanks for checking it out!

If you can provide a Game Design Document with more info on mechanics and design of the game, I might go on board with it. I wouldn't mind helping you out.

I would have made a file to upload but the site doesn't support it here, so I'm just going to Copy Paste it in here.

@ SaintJamez911 - Before you get to into it might want to check up on this case and the results of it. To actualy find news on it search "Hex vs MTG" or something similar. I don't know how it all turned out. I've often wondered how the Force of Will TCG, which I love, hasn't been sued to oblivion yet. People say it's because "MTG is to big to care" but I doubt that's the case since it raised hell against Cryptozoic Entertainment and the Hex online TCG.
This was a fairly big deal for awhile last year. Anyways as long as you can't afford a lawyer be educated about this and do some research first.

Also I am not 100% yet but seeing as how FoW hasn't been sued to hell yet it might be ok that you use similar mechanics to MTG and either leave the name off or have them act differently because of the rulesof the game.

Generally speaking it seems like MTG found the best basic concepts for building a car and judges thought it would be rediculous if only Ford was able to build cars so they let other companise use the same parts: Engines and all they are made of, Chasis, Tires, Basic Drive and Belt sytems etc. Just try and make all of your parts unique or to rearrange them and change just some of them for now.
I very much like how you have two stone areas. Super freaking sweet! I also love that the Instants are the only cards that can pull from both. Awesome concepts. I haven't seen anything like this since Mongola which nobody has ever attempted to implement into a TCG. I look forward to this.
If you want to make a creat TCG you realy should buy a deck and play Pokemon, MTG, Force of Will, Yugioh, and NetRunner. Also trying Legend of the Five Rings (called L5R for short) would help out as it had a very unique system where you had 2-4 decks from what my buddy who used to play at championships tells me. It is even more different from MTG than FoW yet still much closer in spirit than a lot of other TCGs.

@ SaintJamez911 - One other thing. I undersand how hard it is to take it slow and methodically as when I have to do that I am constantly afraid that I'll lose ideas I think up. You need to go about that this way though.
Here's an outline of all the things you need to do:
1. Find somebody to manage the business. (This should be you or somebody who has proven experience in business. Maybe somebody who manages a fast-food restaurant and likes to do this stuff in their spare time.)
2. Find somebody who solely works with artists and is in charge of making sure you have enough art.
3. Find somebody who is solely in charge of Storyline. Yes this is important. If you truly want to make this game a franchise you need this. I mean you don't need it immediately and could get away with 3-4 editions without it depending on the type of game your making.
4. Find somebody who works on mechanics 24/7 (or as much as they possibly can.)
5. Find somebody who is decent at making websites and somebody willing them to manage them. This can be the same person or two different people.
6. Find somebody who can work the non-website portions of your network for later on down the road. For now just develop contacts with as many students or professionals in network administration or advanced tech support as you can find. This is somebody to set up all the routers, switches, PCs, etc for when you eventually get a small office.
Of course this is all assuming you want a basic typical company structure and a small team. If you want to do it all solo power to you but let me tell you, it will take the majority of your time just coming up with a whole set. If you're going to do this you may as well make money off it because it is such a time consuming endeavor.
Before you start getting tons and tons of donations you need to have a structure set up so that when those donations come in you can convert that dough into bread without having to go to the store and buy flour so to speak.
A lot of people on kick-starter that make tons of money quickly failed because they couldn't achieve their goals regardless of the money they raised, they were overwhelmed, or they weren't organized so things kept taking longer than they should, which lead to them not meeting milestones, which lead to them abandoning projects. Having an outline and at least procedures will help immensely.
All the employees should be capable of creating their own procedures and refining them. The managers are in charge of creating Policies.
