I have my final exams in two weeks. I've deactivated my Facebook so I can revise more and waste time less.

.....now if only there was some way of forgetting tappedout for a while......

I'll take this opportunity to remind you that your points (and therefore rank) reset after a prolonged period of inactivity.

I'm a bad person.

You guys have the quarter system? Friends I know in the quarter system are still in school. Yea, you guys are probably in the quarter system. Or in a different country than the US.

The US semester people in their summer vacations say hello! (Good luck, guys!)

I knew it; I was being that American guy.

Anyway, mind if I ask what you're majoring in? I'll start, I'm going into Accounting.

You don't major in the UK and we don't have the credit system. You take one subject for the whole 3 years and you sit one exam at the end. If you fail then you fail your entire degree and have wasted thousands of pounds. It's (arguably) a more rigorous system that produces more hardcore students.

I'm a clinical psychologist. I deal mainly with mood and anxiety disorders like depression, bipolar, phobia, ptsd etc

It sounds a lot like the system in the Philippines; I was going to study there, but I went to the US instead. MURICA

I'd agree it's a better system; when I first moved here in the US I saw how laid back both the students and the schools are about academics compared to other countries' education. It's weird and the system wants you to focus on extra-curricular stuff, and prioritizing that is a no-no for me.

Lol yeh. I know loads of students that did their first studies in the US and moved to the UK afterwards for their second degrees.

They cite the same reason. This ridiculous focus on things that ARENT your major.

Whatever though, I'm happy. I was thinking of working in a US hospital when I'm older though. Better pay over there. That's what happens when you don't have a national health service - doctors and other medical professionals get to rip people off more.

I know the feeling. I'm in the middle of GCSEs at the moment. They are undoubtedly easier and less stressful than the exams you are doing right now, but they are still a massive pain. I absolutely hate exams. But hey, on the bright side, I only have 2 hours of English left in my entire life.

Finished with final exams last week and it was such a good feeling. We had longer and more spread out finals than most of my friends at different universities, which made them go by very slowly. I'd hate having my entire education rest on one set of exams too though, good luck man! From what you've said, you sound like you're dedicated to what you do and you shouldn't have to worry.

Don't do what I did either, I was around 30 on the site and then stopped for exams a year or two back. Then I got used to not going on here and didn't for a few months and had my points and such reset. Ah well, as long as all of my decks and such didn't get wiped I'm all set.

Again, good luck with your exams!
