Whew, the musical I was in is officially over. I haven't been to my LGS for like a month, so now I can hopefully start going to FNM again.

What musical were you in? I haven't met any other Magic players that also do theatre.

Oh gosh, Callahan? Wow. I always wanted to be Emmett in that musical, 'cause he's a lot like me. Hope the performances went well!

They did. Elle was my cousin as well, so it was a little awkward...

Things I learned today: Legally Blond is a musical. I thought it was just that weird girl movie from years ago.

I used to head up the stage lighting and vfx crews back in high school theatre. Never did any musicals, but I know dem feels of living on / around the stage for that period of time. Fortunately, I and a few buddies would play magic up in the catwalks when we weren't needed for anything.

@alexthegreat38: There's actually a number of people I know that do theater and play Magic. One of my friends is a devoted drama guy and singer. The other 3 are not really too into drama, but did the musical.

@CanadianShinobi: It was a weird girl movie, and the musical adaptation is also weird. Also hilarious, impressive, and sometimes touching, but still weird.

Having long periods of free time would be nice, then I could go to the LGS, play a bit, and trade off all of these standard staples for modern ones.
