So this new release is incredibly refreshing. It's finally gotten me back into the game after taking a 3+ month break. I really like that you can win 15 "free" packs from the start. I also finished League of Explorers -- did anyone else feel it was easier than Curse of Naxxramas? It was still fun, it just felt easier.

As far as the update goes, I'm glad they nerfed cards that were really limiting design space. Unfortunately, I think it will just allow other cards to take over. I also really like the standard option, as it allows players to brew with their newest cards, but Wild allows you to play with everything you've unlocked.

I'm about to open 50 packs of Whispers...wish me luck!

P.S. C'Thun is life

Sucks that the Hearthstone version of this site crashed and burned, but yeah, I'm super excited as well. I'm not crazy over C'thun, although I don't dislike it. It's a cool build around, and devastating if you can get it out at a reasonably high power, but it just feels a tad lackluster to me. I really like Yogg-Saron though, basically turns the game into Russian Roulette.

That sounds a little hypocritical now that I think about it.

The thing with C'Thun is, the cards that buff him are really, really good. Divine Shield, Taunt, 3/4s, etc. It would be a different story if the supporting cards sucked but, they don't. I'm still loving DragonMage in standard. I'm at about 80% win rate right now.

True, true. I actually lost to a C'Thun deck on t9 from them overwhelming me and me not drawing ANY removal.

Pull anything cool from your packs?

ALL HAIL THE GLORY OF YOGG-SARON.

If only it were possible to make a deck centered around such a thing in mtg. But, I've been pretty stoked about this expansion. Quickly crafted up a Yogg and a Rag, LL as soon as I could.
