Bethesda Showcased Fallout 4, their new take on the Doom franchise, a first look at Dishonored 2, as well as a few other goodies at the premier. It was a great time!

There's gonna be a Dishonored 2? Did it look good?

What's their new take on Doom? That sentence alone instills horror in me.

TehCoopeh: They released a trailer that showed off some pretty cool things. Among them:

  • While you can play as Corvo, there will be a new heroine to play as, as well. Both Corvo and this new heroine will have vastly different arsenals and powers/abilities.

  • The story takes place after the first one, and Corvo has lost the kingdom he once stood atop.

  • The mysterious entity that gifted Corvo his powers is back, and narrates the trailer.

  • The mysterious woman fights off some very cool looking steampunk/china doll robots in the trailer. They seem to be fleshing out their style much more.

DaggerV: Honestly? Very close to the old one. The 'vertical slice' we were shown was met with a great response from the audience, and it sticks very close to the 'spirit' of the game. It was violent, gory, pulse-pounding action all the way through!

Were the graphics for fallout 4 any good?

sirbar: They were more adeptly shown than they were in the initial trailer, if that's what you mean. Considering the sheer amount of new content they've shoved into the game (you can now build your own settlement from the ground up, in a dynamic building model, for example. Weapon customization is massive, and they've completely revamped the dialogue system as well) I would say that the graphics are pretty darn good.

The textures are still a little basic, and Bethesda seems to still have trouble properly doing faces/certain animations but the lighting is excellent, and it all fits together very nicely.

Any mention of an elder scrolls 6?

They alternate between fallout and elder scrolls so it's unlikely.

I'm going to watch this on YouTube when I get a chance.
