Seems like a great way to make a background for a deck page. I like the idea!

(Also, cool Phelddagrif deck!)

What camera do you shoot with?

Wow those are both amazing. Is your other work anywhere visible? Or can you link me to it?

My go-to equipment is a Samsung NX1000 + Canon FDn 50mm f/1.4 (attached via a Fotodiox adapter). Both pics were shot at f/8 on a tripod with an off-camera light source and edited in Lightroom.

I've got other MtG photos on my deck pages, profile and binder, canterlotguardian.

Nice! I generally shoot either a cannon t4i or a lumix g3. I haven't done mtg stuff in a while though.

How do you like the Samsung stuff? Ive been on Canon forever, but am thinking about expanding.

Yet again, why switch when you're on the best. XD

ThatJunkMage, it has its uses. I got a NX1000 because it has a bit larger sensor than consumer-grade Canons and Nikons while only costing me $250 without the lens. There are tons of adapters for the NX system as well so I can use a $50 full-metal Canon FDn 50mm f/1.4 from the 70s instead of a $300 plastic one. With that said, we all know it's about the photographer not the camera (though I'd love to get my hands on a Sony a7s).
