If Karn is so powerful, where are his pants?

I mean, seriously, all the other Planeswalkers have some article of clothing on, even that Ashiok chick has that fabulous skirt. Do you think any of the other Planeswalkers ever want to deal with Karn with him freeballing like Dr. Manhattan out there? Conjure yourself a pair of pants, you pervert golem!

Karn doesn't need pants, look at Abe Lincoln. Abe.Abe Lincoln didn't wear pants, and he's one of the most influential presidents in history. little known fact: John Wilkes Booth tricked Abe into pants, weakening him and thus killing him.

he's also an iron golem which none of the others are lol
August 4, 2014 11:26 p.m.
Karn is love. Karn is life. His pantlessness needs no explanation.
August 4, 2014 11:38 p.m.
To be fair, the iron golem is Bosh, Iron Golem . Karn is actually silver because that can handle time travel, Karn, Silver Golem .

The more powerful you are, the less your need for pants

@Fulcrum The hulk is nowhere near the power level of Karn or Dr. Manhattan. Now, if he would just let loose that green giant, that might be another story.

See, when Karn was in training, he accidentally exiled his pants. Since, he's just never found the need to restart the game to get them back. Duh.

zandl- I was waiting for someone to pick up on that tangent. You just made my night.
Also, Galactus is pretty powerful, and he wears pants.

Doge, you have managed to set gender politics and humor back approximately five years apiece. Congratulations, and may your thickness never impede your ability to live a rich and mediocre life.

@TheNinjaJesus: I almost wonder if comment #16 is good enough for the wall of fluffybunnypants. Regardless, that was brilliant.

Fulcrum- Thank you. Some people think being as sardonic as I am is a gift, but it takes years of work and hard practice. I actually minored in that program. Where do you weigh in on the whole pants being the source or impediment of power?
August 5, 2014 3:22 p.m.
@TheNinjaJesus: I think clothes in general lower the power level of beings; just look at Freeza. However, the Hulk's power (according to the comics) is literally infinite, so his pants must be part of that. They are powerful enough to withstand constant intergalactic battles, being ripped apart, and most importantly stretching.
And here I am having ripped like 3 pairs of pants in the last year.

Fulcrum... that... means... you're stronger than the Hulk?! If the truly mighty Hulk cannot rip pants, and you've ripped three last year... my God...

TheNinjaJesus-Come at me bro, ninjas haven't been a thing since Kamigawa. Also, if you want to introduce a character with dubious gender, don't make it suck so hard even the most rabid Tumblr feminazi couldn't love it.
wow
such mill
very suck
so PC

Anyone who uses the word "feminazi" in a serious context doesn't tend to earn much respect or attention from me. They occupy the same sphere as Justin Bieber fans and people who watch Honey Boo Boo. If you want to contribute to the grownup conversation, feel free to rejoin the forum when you don't immediately discount the opinion of half the human race just because they treated you badly in grade school, or middle school, or wherever you were rejected. You are officially failing the human race.

The grown-up conversation on why Karn doesn't wear pants? Dude, I have nothing against you. It just irritates me when companies go out of their way to avoid offending people. I do, however, hate the UB color combo. Not since the days of Dr. Teeth has a UB deck ever been even moderately competitive.
August 6, 2014 2:54 a.m.
That's twice I've seen the term feminazi used recently by people who have no idea what they're talking about.

In the forum "most powerful being in Magic the Gathering", the beings mentioned were storm crow, eldrazi titans, Nicol Bolas, Marit Lage, Karn, Sorin, Urza, Commadore Guff, clone, Tetsuo Umezawa, Yawgmoth, and Ajani. Of those, storm crow, eldrazi titans, Nicol bolas, Marit Lage, Karn, and Yawgmoth don't wear pants. Judging from this, I don't think pants make you powerful, but I don't think the lack thereof does either.

If Karn Liberated is so powerful without pants, what would happen if Liliana of the Veil decided to strip off her panties one day?
August 19, 2014 4:11 a.m.
vampirelazarus says... #36
We are talking about pants, not undergarments.
Cmon, lets keep this serious.
August 19, 2014 4:24 a.m.
Femme_Fatale says... #37
No wait, Liliana doesn't wear panties. She wears thongs ... maybe ... I'm going more along the lines of g-string. A small, black, lacy and deadly g-string ♥. Why deadly? Because she doesn't even need to use any black mana. All she has to do is flip up her dress and FLASH instant victory!
If she decided to strip off those one day, what would she do with them?
Either make ... a G-String Zombie ... or put it up for auction just to see Bolas out scheming everyone else, just to claim it as his. He would then be hence titled:
Nicol Bolas, the Panty Hunter

Who says you need to be pantsless to show off you extremely large powerful abilities?
August 19, 2014 4:47 a.m.
Femme_Fatale says... #42
It be better if you could actually see a bulge MagicalHacker.
As it is, those pants are just compensation for what you don't have :3
vampirelazarus says... #2
Think about it. Dr. Manhattan is super powerful, and he doesn't wear pants either.
Pants are obviously holding back the all powerful.
