I can promise all of you in this thread right now that as far as I'm concerned, there is no bitterness between us. I think epoch is great. As far as he's concerned it may be a different story though.

I happen to quite like ChiefBell. I also happen to quite like intellectual and philosophical debates.
I very rarely come to resent someone, and I can recognize the difference between intellectual conviction and common ignorance and between productive exchange and common stupidity. I'm happy to say that the last few pages have been in the former camps on both accounts.

I like Spellheart Chimera in modern :3 (I usually use it paired with Riverfall Mimic and Clout of the Dominus).
But less so that Scavenging Ooze is played.

I really just want to interject with more historical overviews at this point. I'm going to concur that this is becoming rather unseemly.
Gentlemen, ChiefBell and Epochalyptik. While I thoroughly respect your ability and rights to proceed with this debate I must also stress that I am a man who upholds common good. So, as Femme_Fatale has previously suggested, I too shall suggest that you take this debate to a more private location, for the sake of the common good.
I am not here to suggest that either of you hate one another, that would be absurd. However, from my reading of your debate there appears to be some bitterness. You both represent valid arguments and you represent them well. However, you both also possess different cultural and societal backgrounds which inform these opinions. This is no doubt going to lead to tension, regardless of intent. I am no doubt too late in posting this, but I felt the need to weigh in by asking you both to respect the common good, regardless of whether either of you agree with me on this matter.
