Council's Judgment would also work if Alesha is your general. Gets around hexproof and shroud.

jesus, nice combos femme, i applaud you actually. That is one of the most innovative EDH decks I've seen. R u trying to make it very competitive tho, like consistent t5 wins or so?

Haven't heard of any, but wouldn't be too hard to build. Basically the deck would be:

And then a bunch of ramp / Basalt Monolith + Rings of Brighthearth to get lots of mana to set off Epic Experiment.

Sirbar, I have a sudo one. It is not ideal though. I have been tweaking it, and only have Jhoira. Nin would be ideal though for me. Not going to link it because I keep messing with it. I ended up going with a Kiln Fiend type deck though. Just it still has grapeshot. I might add the eggyness back in though.

The dragon is.. interesting. Definitely, definitely playable in standard. As far as modern, where would you put it? But yea, that's just an awesome card. Think that'll see play somewhere for sure.

enpc I still don't get it. Pestermite costs 3, animar makes it one cheeper, and it untaps one land, that's a loss of one mana, sorry I must be missing something.

I'm finding room for it in my mardu list. Efficient fliers are always a good thing. The only issue i have right now about it is do i cut butcher? Do i run them together? Tough to call.

VampireArmy I'd cut butcher honestly. It's always felt kinda lackluster to me. It's super rare that it gets to sac a creature on turn four and actually get to attack, instead of just eating a removal spell. With this, at least, you are getting value. And if it survives, and your drop a stormbreath dragon on turn 5, your opponent is gonna have a bad time without a wrath.

4 mana dudes in a modern Deck...it's hard knocks without reliable draw. My only option was to go for a tempo game. I'm not missing out on fucking bolt Dragon though

sirbar: on the intial outlay, yes. But anima makes stuff cheaper for each ounter on him. So with Animar and Cloudstone Curio in play:

  1. Play Cloud of Faeries. This puts a counter on Animar. Stuff is cheaper.

  2. Untap 2 lands from Faeries ability.

  3. Cast Pestermite for . This puts another counter on Animar. Stuff is now cheaper.

  4. Untap a blue-mana producing land from pestermite's ability.

  5. return Cloud of Faeries to you hand from Cloudstone Curio's ability.

  6. recast Cloud for , untapping 2 lands and bouncing pestermite.

  7. recast perstermite for , untapping 1 land and bouncing cloud.

  8. ???

  9. Profit.

bijschjdbcd If you have more than 2 V Cliques, it would be fine, but you certainly need to keep 2 around at all times, just in case. Luckily for me, my cakeday is in June, so I expect to have a reasonable haul then. I'm not a borrowing person, though. If you want to donate a $50-$75 card, that would be really appreciated, but I don't accept loans.

Cryptic Command is worse when you have more than 3, so a 4th would be safe to give away.

bigguy99 Tarns are harder to find than Snappies, and are more expensive.
