I know nothing about legacy merfolk but I believe it's similar to the modern version. The deck is pretty fun to play and can be pretty flexible in terms of whether it takes the aggro road, or the slow tempo road.
I like the deck but I don't think it's any higher than T2. However it's certainly not bad in any way. It's just not quite good enough to be at the forefront.

That's what i'm feeling about it. Like, it's a fine deck to have, but I'm also probably going to work toward something better. Similar to a few months ago when I played burn, I guess. It's fine, and it can win if you're lucky, but it's not a deck that you can rely on to take down a tourney.

Modern, not in my opinion. I think he's fine as like a meta choice, but no, I like the card advantage better.
Legacy, Tasigur all day. That's in like BUG Delver decks though, and i'm unsure if they run bob anyway.

In this current meta, I feel like Tas might be better. Bob's great but I feel like he doesn't do enough before getting Bolted, y'know?

Because DC just makes Taz a whole package of NO. So DC went down, and now most Junk uses Taz. At least I think so.

I feel like building a Standard deck, probably Esper control. The problem is that if I build it, I'll want to play it, and I won't be able to gather the actual physical cards together.
I stopped playing Standard only to want to build more standard decks. Halp.

This site really has turned to shit. I honestly don't think I can be here anymore. At least not this thread. I miss the old days of giggling and laughing about our lives. That's what I intended these threads to be, a place where we can converse about our lives ... not the toxicity of magic nor the debates that come with that many of us don't like even if they aren't made in malice. Just a place to chat about our daily lives, our interests, what makes us happy, what makes us sad, what we like and what we don't. Those sort of things.
So if you'll excuse me, I'll go find a happier, more joyful and energetic place to be, one where I can actually express who I am.

From a few pages ago, I traded for a merfolk deck yesterday. Modern. How do you feel the deck stands as an option in legacy? I'm a bit torn on finishing the legacy deck that I was working on, storm, and just buying the force of wills and wastelands to finish merfolk.
