So I'm playing grixis control now. I have found the key card that screws this meta up. I AM VICTORIUS.
I mean, I could go esper. But I like that Lightning Bolt + Terminate combo.
I'm also not going to tell anyone about my secret tech till I've written a proper description for it.

I posted a call for untap action here because I knew all of the people I commonly play with would get a notification. If I posted it in social no-one would see it, which is entirely pointless. I suppose I could have tagged people in a private deck but then I may have forgotten someone.

Why not just make a thread and tag everyone in the bracket? Or tag everyone in an existing thread.
I just don't think it's necessary for everyone else to wade through twenty posts of people organizing an extant and already-discussed event in order to get back to whatever conversation we were having before.

Epochalyptik - this had nothing to do with the event (or at least it didn't to me). I just wanted to play against literally anyone who was online. It wasn't meant to be a discussion or a derailing. Just a quick 'anyone free to play - come on untap'. That was it.
I'm not that sympathetic though to be honest. If there was a better way to reach multiple people extremely quickly on tappedout then I'd use that instead.... but there isn't. It's one of the things I dislike most about the site. The only other one I could have done this effectively would be to go to social and post a thread tagging almost literally every single person here asking if they were free...... that doesn't seem at all ideal.
Regardless I think femmes dogging out a thread about this in social that we can use.

Great typo.
I'll probably just use the Facebook group more. If tappedout had a way to very quickly communicate with a large number of your friends it would be perfect. As it stands at the moment I really feel like it's a feature that's sorely missed. I feel like thats actually quite fair and constructive feedback.

We probably should have a thread in Social for organizing impromptu games amongst players. There are enough of you who use untap or cockatrice to make it worthwhile.

Yeah that could work. It would be nice to be able to stick threads to the top of forums. There could be a sticky in social that had a list of everyone's cockatrice or untap details so you could add them as friends on the client. That would save a lot of hassle. Something like that is only useful if it stays at the top though - in easy view. Either me or you could edit the first post of the thread as people comment leaving their details. Essentially just creating a really long list as the original post. Could even link to a Google document.

I just had an epic moment on XMage.
I was playing 
control, and had a Judge's Familiar on the battlefield. My opponent was playing Little Kid Junk, and had just cast a Siege Rhino. They had 2 lands left untapped, then cast a Path to Exile targeting my Judge's Familiar. Into the chat they typed "LOL I can stop your counter". I let the Path resolve, and fetched a Plains. On my turn, I then had the 6 lands necessary to cast a Baneslayer Angel and Path their rhino.
Karma bitch.
