fresh start. GO
Dark chocolate is, in fact, far superior to milk chocolate, but they both falter in comparison to vanilla.

I enjoy cherry pie and pecan pie. I also wouldn't ever turn own an apple pie, but I don't know that it would be my first choice. chocolate pie is disgusting. ill eat 70% dark organic chocolate any day, but keep that pie outa here

What do you people eat when it comes to, you know, real food?

Real food? I eat a variety of things. I possess the ability to cook. I thoroughly enjoy making pulled pork, fish and chips, various pastas and pork chops with a variety of sides. I also make really good hamburgers and meatloaf.

I'm near close to making my Alesha deck competitive. I just have 11 slots to choose from. Getting rid of all my pointless extra combos and just focusing on two, ones a graveyard combo and the other is a Kiki combo. Because most of my card choices completely avoid the board state or handle the board state mid-combo proc, it looks like these 11 slots are going to be devoted to non-blue counterspells!
March 4, 2015 1:17 a.m.
VampireArmy says... #18
But nonblue counters normally suck. Take my word for it you want discard. Lots of discard. It worked beautifully with zurgo
March 4, 2015 1:19 a.m.
I mean I don't think anyone could possibly list everything they eat but I try and have fish once a week, steak/ground beef 1-2 times a month, pork maybe once a week, lamb once every two months, and chicken the rest. Oh, whole wheat pasta once or twice a week as well. Of course, vegetables every day as well.
As far as lunch goes, thats a toss up of whatever.
Breakfast? Oatmeal or eggs or occasionally french toast.
March 4, 2015 1:20 a.m.
I guess my hands down favorite dish of all time is Beef Stroganoff... of course, that's full of cream so it's a couple times a year kinda thing. Favorite type of food is german and rustic, uncomplicated french food. And yea, I can cook well as well, so just kinda make whatever I feel like eating for the night.

Damn situational but considering its can eternal format (aka bluuuuuuuuuue everywhere) i guess that's options

Still i would focus on discard more than counters in mardu
March 4, 2015 1:26 a.m.
I don't know how far reaching this swiss company is, but we have it in long island, ny. It is, without question, the best chocolate i've ever had. German company, if anyone cares.
March 4, 2015 1:26 a.m.
Ignore the swiss company part, brain malfunctioning. It's a german company.

As for pie, meat pie with tomato sauce is the bomb. As for sweets:
For stuff I eat, well there is a Nepalese and Tibetan joint near my apartment. Also, don't know if you have Grill'd over there but it is amazing.

Welp new kologhan is utterly useless.
6 mana 6/5 haste also gives your other creatures haste. Deals 10 damage to any opponent who plays a spell that has the same as one in their graveyard. Awesome....except delve renders that useless for even standard!!
Not even in fucking commander...really wotc? Would it fucking KILL YOU to print a halfway decent rakdos card?
March 4, 2015 2:56 a.m.
VampireArmy says... #32
Correction for it to deal damage the spell has to be a creature or plainswalker
They purposely made this suck. There's no way they thought this was playable

ItchiUchiha117 says... #33
Well, Delve will be leaving standard before this new Kolaghan will. Maybe there are some mechanics in the next couple sets based around graveyards and making creatures cost less for having some in the grave?
Also, not totally useless in commander. You can always use it against the guy that built a Relentless Rats deck.
Yes, that last bit was a (bad) joke.
March 4, 2015 3:07 a.m.
Well. A 6/5 hasty flyer for 6 is way pushed already. Yes it's expensive but that's good. The fact that it gives your next creature haste as well if it lives is just a bonus.
I agree that it's unlikely that the lose ten life thing is going to matter versus any kind of control or Abzan deck, but it could be relevant vs jeskai or any whip decks floating around. Also seems very very good versus temur or red green midrange.
March 4, 2015 3:09 a.m.
VampireArmy says... #35
I had high hopes is all. Old kologhan was actually pretty good for token decks.
This one is so damn narrow. Ugh...now i really have a bad feeling about the rest of the mardu stuff
March 4, 2015 3:16 a.m.
VA: Also Burnout, Rebuff the Wicked (which is pretty much just giving protection), and Mana Tithe. Talking about Burnout, is there a blue one that targets red spells (Hydroblast and Pyroblast)?

Haw haw. I thought it was just a normal spell, so I was all like: "Well, at least he makes Snappy a sad panda."
Still tho, giving all of your creatures haste is very nice. Even if it's a bit high on the curve...

Copy pasting a conversation with a friend:
Aside from a 6/5 haste.
Bad in limited.
Bad in commander.
Okay in standard.*
Never gonna see play in modern.
Same with Legacy.
*Only ok because Delve completely shafts her last ability.

ChiefBell I said "aside from a 6/5 haste"
What I mean is all of the other abilities are nearly useless.
Granting your other dudes haste? That's nice but you want haste BEFORE you hit your sixth turn usually.
The 10 damage? Not NEARLY as likely in limited where you draft 1-2 of stuff.
March 4, 2015 9:21 a.m.
Ohthenoises says... #43
Also, haste enablers that die are historically not good.

I wonder if any of this set will see Modern play. I know I was joking around about that one 4cmc dragon, but it would be nice to get something new and exciting.
March 4, 2015 10:25 a.m.
CanadianShinobi says... #46
You know this thing is going to be expensive as hell right? Gaaaaah! But I must own it! Even if it never sees a ton of Modern play I must have it, it's just too good.
And it can be played in Jeskai Control too! Think of it! Rebounding Lightning Helix, or Lightning Bolt!
March 4, 2015 11:02 a.m.
Yeh. She's highly playable. She doesn't protect herself like other walkers but does start on 6/7 loyalty which is really good. I'm sure she'll on pre order for like $50 or so and to be honest I think that's right. I see her rebounding Treasure Cruise in standard (ew, ew, ew) and in modern her +1 will just slowly win games.
March 4, 2015 11:06 a.m.
CanadianShinobi says... #48
So pre order at $50, drop to what? Say $30 during here time in Standard?
March 4, 2015 11:11 a.m.
caveat: if she is indeed jammed into jeskai control in modern which I'm like 75% sure she will be she won't drop at all. She'll be happy in standard and then once she rotates she'll be happy in modern.
