Alright I'm sleeping now.
I'm supposed to be flying to Baltimore in a month or two for some medical tests. Had a lot of stuff done here in the UK but it's always worth getting a second opinion. Not a massive fan of planes though. They kinda freak me out. It's a totally irrational fear but I'm working on it.
Also I'm going to be really really cheeky now. If you guys could have a look at my abzan deck on my profile and leave comments and up votes it would be really really appreciated. It's here. I know it's vain but if I can get it to the number 3 most up voted I'll be very happy. Yeh I'm being an upvote-whore but it doesn't happen often so ill excuse myself on this one occasion.

Won the Sunday Modern tournament at my LGS with my 4cGifts list. Yey.

The Esper control deck was a hilarious matchup. It was just a wall of counters (and since my deck is like 88 percent removal, those were all dead cards.) so I had trouble pushing through much of anything.
Game 1, he managed to path both my manlands, but I pushed a batterskull through eventually, and beat him down.
Game 2, I sideboarded in 2 Negates and a Dispel. I took out my Abrupt Decays, because they had no real targets, among other things. Problem tho: I wasn't expecting him to drop an Ashiok. He got extremely lucky with his first 2 pluses, nabbing both my sets of answers almost immediately, and he nearly decked me before it was called to time.
The Selesnya aggro deck wasn't even a contest. Game 1, I had the answers in hand. Game 2, I SB in my second Engineered explosives, etc. and managed to put out a T4 Iona for white, as he had no interaction on that point.
The Infect was difficult, but I managed to bull through, SBing in my second Engineered Explosives, Dispel, third Lingering Souls and second copy of Slaughter Pact, taking out 2 Lilianas, Damnation and the Tasigur. I won the first match by picking his hand apart with an early Thoughtseize, then eventually winning through Souls+Batterskull beats. I lost the second game, and won the third, mostly due to luck. His hand had a lot of redundancy, so I was able to throw out a Maelstrom Pulse that snagged 2 Glistener Elf.

ThisIsBullshit: Depends on what you mean by reanimator. It's really more of a control deck with a reanimation package in it. It's not what you go for a lot when fetching with Gifts. Just when the opportunity presents itself.

Soooo guess what? Before I was a regular i actually pretty much Hated this community
Why? Mostly because i was a pleb and no one was going to pretend i wasn't. Truth was my playgroups were always casual and i was always top dog so being told i was wrong was...ugh
Anyhoo i actually had a dislike for a few of my now friends!
Epoch - i legitimately Thought you were just a know it all who took pride in telling people how wrong they are.
Bell - We had a huge argument over the span of like....7 pages on ideology and politics. It wasn't until then that i actually began to respect you. Haha i was also just angry in general at the time so there's that.
Femme - i Thought you were a simple attention seeker who would stop at nothing to have nen grovel and tell you that you're pretty
Seld reflection : I enjoy being wrong about this.
