Sorry my dear CommanderOfBolas but Grixis is part of the ones I dislike the most :<

I think Fae is decently well positioned right now. A friend of mine won an iq with it not too long ago

And Grixis is fantastic. Discard spells, countermagic, amazing removal, and solid creatures add up to a fantastic deck. I am loving it right now

Alright I'll take a look at some Jeskai control and fae lists and see which one i pilot batter. Thanks a bunch

If you want to play test on untap, VA, I'll be available in about an hour

Is anyone else having issues with vanishing notifications? I click the red text bubble expecting to see the usual wall of notifications but it resets itself and only has like 1-2. Happens to me like once a week.

Control decks: Jeskai rules supreme. Not close.
slovakattack, wanna fight me?

@bigguy99: I hereby challenge you to a duel. To the death! The winner receives the title of best control deck!

GlistenerAgent: I'll be out of class in about 30 min.

Can we all agree on one software and use it? I have xmage, cockatrice and an untap account. It's ridiculous.

I'm currently at work and won't be home till about 11pm (east coast usa time)
Once i decide on a build for both I'll be down.
I have one mentor and one grandmaster . Anyone want them? I need other stuff
March 10, 2015 6:34 p.m.
I never understood Jeskai over exper. Black gives you better draw, threats, and removal than red.
March 10, 2015 6:34 p.m.
GlistenerAgent says... #17
Esper Control doesn't use the black draw spells or threats. All the black threats are worse than the blue ones, and there isn't space for both.
As for removal, I'd rather have burn than Dismember and such. Electrolyze is also dealbreaking as hell.

kyuuri117 yeah, me too. It's because the thread of notifications is programmed to show the X last notifications. So if you subscribed to a thread that's constantly notifying you, then it will almost only show this one's notifications -or so I figured out.

Why am I the only one to feel the OPness of Telepathy in a control deck? :<
March 10, 2015 6:39 p.m.
CommanderOfBolas says... #24
Lol I agree. It's bad. Good players know what their opponents have in hand already
March 10, 2015 6:43 p.m.
elpokitolama says... #27
This card is game breaking against almost every deck except for the most aggro ones. Your opponent completely lose the ability to bluff, and in a control deck that allow you to know exactly what is the best thing to do at the right moment.

Wtf man
March 10, 2015 6:46 p.m.
GlistenerAgent says... #29
It's not that good players know what their opponents have, because even the best play Gitaxian Probe for perfect info.
Telepathy takes a slot in your deck, provides no card advantage, and contributes very little to actually winning games.

Vendilion Clique.
And as CoB said, Good players know what to counter when and in what matchups.
Control capitalises on card economy and this essentially 0-1s you.

If we only played against bots, I would agree with you. But I found out that this card has a great impact on a psychological viewpoint.

Probes tole isn't primarily for information.
But yes your statement is correct.

So commander question was asked a few pages back:
- Nekusar, the Mindrazer. I promptly dropped this one because I knew nothing about EDH. In which I picked up again after learning a tonne from my 2nd commander choice. Nekusar is what got me into EDH. I used to love Psychosis Crawler and Teferi's Puzzle Box interactions in a casual modern build I had. I also ran things like Lorescale Coatl and what not.
- Nahiri, the Lithomancer was my 2nd commander, because I &heart; Kor, so I &heart; Nahiri. Problem was was that I quickly found that the strategy I wanted made Nahiri suck. So I changed it to Eight-and-a-Half-Tails and it is now combo-win stax slug deck.
- 3rd commander is Alesha, Who Smiles at Death because we share the same status. Not too mention because I quickly learned of her Kaalia like OPness.
- Adun Oakenshield will be my fourth, because once again, aggro combo.

How is Probe not for information?
Ooh, Commander stuff? If I ever build one it'll be Gahiji, Honored One.
March 10, 2015 6:58 p.m.
Femme_Fatale says... #35
OH DERP. HUR HUR, I forgot a few.
Alesha is actually my 5th and Adun will be my 6th. I have a Angus Mackenzie super friends pillow fort as my 3rd and a Karona, False God Ally tribal as my 4th. I tried to do bant landfall buuuut ... that just didn't work.

GlistenerAgent Gahiji can be pretty awesome. I played him for a bit.
March 10, 2015 7:27 p.m.
Femme_Fatale I played Nahiri as well a while back. I think I actually tried to help you out. but anyway, the deck got stale once I get everything.
Thats something I've noticed, once I one the whole deck irl the allure to play it plummets. What's wrong with me?
March 10, 2015 7:36 p.m.
bijschjdbcd says... #38
Primarily GlistenerAgent, I meant that the roles that it plays is not always for information, it is a benefit but its roles are different in preban delver and storm.
March 10, 2015 7:38 p.m.
GlistenerAgent says... #39
It's role is to draw a card for no mana and look at their hand.

I'll try to whip something up for y'all.

CoB, we will never agree on Grixis vs. Esper. This is just the way of the things.
