I used to like stuffing my edh decks with 4-7 mana stuff, but I don't really do that much anymore. Decks will have like, 4-5 cards over 6 cmc, and most of the cards will be 1-3 mana, aside from the wraths. If you are playing blue, having like 10-15 cheap 1-2 mana blue cantrips just is awesome.

I have quite a few of my decks at 4-9 mana. Most of these are stax or fort decks, so you need those pricy cards like the lock angels and the artifact demonic tutors in order to hold down the board state. Mono-white is quite known for this, but Angus Mackenzie is pretty much similar considering how much is required to save up in addition to the cost of all those protection enchantments.

these just chatting forums are messing with the rankings in a way. they are still contributing to helping on the site so its raising the rank even though its just people Bullshitting (nothing wrong with bullshittin)
While VampireArmy is a tight guy and brings no negativity here he would be right in saying his rank is what it is from things like these chat threads.

Today I learned that drafting UB control in FKK is actually a great idea.
Empty the Pits x=6, hell yeah. Silumgar, the Drifting Death absolutely wrecks Monastery Mentor. (These were actual games). I also picked up a shiny Become Immense which was something like 6th pick. That's a $8 foil. Don't pass it past 3rd pick.

I generally just take whatever's open. I used to draft cubes a lot and learnt that. Doesn't work for sets so much though because there are combinations when drafting sets that are just awful, whereas in cube everything's a bit more balanced.

Hell just keep the delver list exactly add 2 paths,.. 2 helix and 2 mentor. Up the lands to 20. It should do well..

My Alesha deck has 5 4 drops, 11 5 drops, 1 6 drop and nothing higher. It has 36 lands and 13 mana rocks. Average cmc is 2.82. Average turns it takes to win: 7. And that's mainly because of the frequency I have of ending up with nothing relevant to my combo and only one tutor.
