I was under the impression that this was a place to just talk, sort of taking the place of a chat room. The title is "Just MORE Chatting", not "Post Random Garbage". But hell, maybe i'm wrong, I didn't create the thread.

ThisIsBullshit yeah, in burn for sure but Zoo uses it's burn to control the battlefield and swing in with over the curve threats. Think of it more like a tempo deck in the way it uses burn.
Atarka's Command is so good for burn. It lets you lower your curve and still keep the additional skullcracks. (Flames of the Blood Hand was the only option before.)

Yeah, I was actually worried it was going to raise the curve of my deck but it's actually been working out pretty well in playtesting so far.

What is BM short for? Serious question, not trying to be sarcastic or anything. Never seen that shorthand before.
slovakattack Honestly, if Origins doesn't have real planeswalkers, as in planeswalkers that you can just cast without having to trigger them, i'm going to be annoyed. Planeswalkers are hit/miss already, and attaching them to a creature adds a second layer of "is this card playable"? It opens all your "planeswalker slots" to being subject to creature removal. I think it's a terrible design and i'm not happy about it.

Okay ... Kor Legions needs a new name. It will no longer be having a Kor nor combo side to it. It'll just be 0 drop equipments with puresteel paladin and leonin shikari proc'ing my prowess triggers. I'm actually considering Sigil of Distinction for use with Lingering Souls tokens.

kyuuri117: I'm in agreement with you atm. The idea of creature-walkers is not great in terms of balance imo. (not that I'm upset that they're making them. It's always cool to see new things, and new ideas) The issue, as I see it, is that the 'low' for a gated walker is so low, that the 'high' needs to be absolutely obscenely high to compensate, in order to make such a card playable in Eternal.

Well here's some food for thought though guys. Not that I'm saying she's good or anything but...
Using liliana as an example of someone aims creature removal and you respond with sacrificing a creature she dodges it. She even dodges downfall because of the way that she's worded, if all of them are that easy to flip then creature removal, even instant speed removal, won't be an issue.
I think these new walkers take a little bit more setup but can can flip so easily that it may be irrelevant.

Ohthenoises I mean, that requires you to have a sac outlet on the board, which is not easy in standard. Also, she can't transform solely off of herself. So if you don't have a sac outlet, all your opponent has to do is hit Lili, Heritical Healer with an ultimate price and she's dead. Or, if you DO have a sac outlet, they target her, you sac, you put the ability on the stack, and they kill her with their second removal spell. Sac resolves, her ability resolves, see's she's dead, and fizzles. It just seems super mediocre.

I would bait 2 kill spells out in a heartbeat.
If you are sacing things it's probably going to be something like Bloodsoaked Champion.
Like I said, it doesn't make her good but it IS a wrinkle that control is going to have to deal with.
It wouldn't suprise me if Nissa's flip trigger involved lands entering the battlefield. (She's always been connected to lands and elves.) in that case it would require that you were able to play a land that turn to flip her.
Like I said, I think that they just take a bit of setting up to be good. You don't T3 the new liliana, you set the board for her to let you flip her on demand.

Siege Rhino. Is holding onto it the right thing to do? I got them when they were 5 i need modern staples and i feel people would be more likely to trade for these but i don't want to let go of them and have pull a Goblin Guide on me...

Just an oppinion: I think in time it will go up.. as long as the meta stays the way it is.. :(
Don't weight your decision on my opinion though, Ive historically made bad decisions on what cards I should have held onto. (When I was a newb and evolving away from the kitchen table format..)

Rhino's mana cost is too restrictive for it to ever be a 30-40 dollar card in my opinion. Imo, it's more a 'vexing devil' situation. That is to say, it's good... until something better comes along.

It's not that great in traditional control. The deck has enough finishers as is and freeing up another slot for it is rather difficult. An army of 1/1s usually isn't as good as a Batterskull or Celestial Colonnade anyway (see Electrickery).

kyuuri117 assuming you are talking about the UW Shell?
I think it's good. As you said providing chump blockers for the early game is especially good against Mono Red and and Token strategy's. If it's for enough you can force them to commit more to the board to apply enough pressure or you will get to your much stronger late game which makes your wraths better.
As a Win con I like it. Better than Elspeth against Heroes Downfall decks but nkre after board where people don't have Bile Blight or the ability to board in Anger etc.
I may run 1 sideboard for specific matchups.
