Yeh. I rest my case.

The cows also only produce milk after they've given birth. So they essentially keep them pregnant forever. Like, every year.

Don't you guys across the lake drink Bovril like coffee?

Eh, I'm sure somebody gets off on it.

So ... I need deck title suggestions. Because I've now chucked any semblance of Kor from my Kor Legions. So, the deck now mainly focuses on utilizing equipments as utility and synergizing them with prowess triggers. But I can't think of a good title and catchy opening feature queue hook to go with it.

The ones I'm thinking of are this:

Hehehehe ... What are you buying?

or

At Dawn, Look to the East"

Well, the 2nd one probably won't be used, as I've got a standard deck in testing for it. But unless someone figures out a really good equipment themed reference, I'll probably end up using that one.

The Armory of General Knoxx, if you're into Borderlands.

Just googling it...... ew what? What even is that?

Lol. I only learned of it by watching BBC top gear. Its a..beef...broth..beverage? They love it lol.

Didgeridooda says... #10

Not sure I have seen that stuff before. Is it a drink, or something that can be made into one?

My guess is it is just a bouillon. Many people drink broth.

March 17, 2015 11:20 a.m.

Didgeridooda says... #11

I have cooked with paste bouillon before. It is much easier then using the cubes.

March 17, 2015 11:21 a.m.

DNB says... #12

ya its just broth- but advertised as a drink

enpc I disagree. I havn't listened to Walking Under Stars, but Drinking from the Sun and State of the Art were just as good as The Hard Road and better than The Calling (nosebleed section excluded).

March 17, 2015 11:41 a.m.

So I bought a bottle of Glenfiddich 12 single malt. Looking for some good books. Nonfiction, if you can.

March 17, 2015 4:04 p.m.

So you guys might remember in the old Just Chatting thread that I was having computer problems (couldn't change the volume using the keys on the keyboard). I tried to fix it, but nothing seemed to work, so I just forgot about it. well now the keys are working again....wtf

March 17, 2015 4:05 p.m.

Epochalyptik Do you consider autobiographical fiction as non-fiction?

March 17, 2015 4:24 p.m.

CommanderOfBolas, I've had things like that happen with my computer and it will sometimes just go away after restarting it. I've had the touch pad (it's a laptop) stop working and it was working again when I restarted.

March 17, 2015 4:34 p.m.

Damn the doctors office is boring

March 17, 2015 4:40 p.m.

elpokitolama says... #20

Epochalyptik I don't know its English name, but I believe Eiji Yoshikawa's books would be great for you. It's a bit fictional, but the main story happened in its main lines. The French name of the book I advise you to read is "La Pierre et le Sabre". :)

And I don't remember who was wondering why Atarka's Command is a Zoo must have, but let's just say that 7 the ability to throw ten damages for only two mana is pretty insane.

March 17, 2015 6:23 p.m.

elpokitolama says... #23

Maybe not ten, but seven happens often.

March 17, 2015 6:23 p.m.

CuteSnail says... #24

I'm back.

What do you all think about Blessed Reincarnation?

March 17, 2015 6:26 p.m.

Oh no, this isn't going to become a spoiler thread, right?

It's, um, pretty bad except against control.

March 17, 2015 6:28 p.m.

elpokitolama says... #26

Polymorph for your opponent? Trade a Tarmogoyf for a Siege Rhino? Sorry, but don't count me in. :p

March 17, 2015 6:29 p.m.

Well against heavy control, where they only have two-three creatures, you basically get rid of their win-cons...

March 17, 2015 6:31 p.m.

elpokitolama says... #28

Because of course against control you're going to be able to cast a 4 mana removal without being countered... This card isn't even meh. :p

March 17, 2015 6:33 p.m.

CuteSnail says... #29

FAMOUSWATERMELON no, I just saw a blue chaos warp for creatures and wanted to know how the formats reacted. Pretty sure edh is a fan.

March 17, 2015 6:35 p.m.

Fair.

March 17, 2015 6:35 p.m.

In EDH this is a terrible idea. Kaalia, anyone? Lol but I've never had good luck with running spells like that.

March 17, 2015 6:48 p.m.

Femme_Fatale says... #32

It has rebound, that's its only good point. It's an exile spell in blue that doesn't normally get removal spells that has rebound.

March 17, 2015 6:49 p.m.

enpc says... #33

unlike Chaos Warp though, it doesn't tuck. Thats the big thing about what makes Chaos Warp good.

March 17, 2015 7:14 p.m.

Dekordius says... #34

If the card didn't say "opponent controls" it would be a dream come true- as it is, it is impossible to manipulate an opponent's deck so that random chance doesn't screw you over half the time

March 17, 2015 7:16 p.m.

I can see it now...

Cast to exile their commander, first creature is an Eldrazi! YAY!

What are people's thoughts on an Orzhov deck in Commander? Something along the lines of a Control deck, but obviously without the blue.

March 17, 2015 7:22 p.m.

enpc says... #36

Teysa, Orzhov Scion would be the best general for that. I've seen it work before. My gf has a teysa deck that's reanimator heavy, not so much combo. But tis really hard to stop and has the ability to be really controlling. Obviously you could build it towards stax even ore if you wanted to.

March 17, 2015 7:24 p.m.

VampireArmy says... #37

In the words of epoch "why would you play control without blue? That's like eating oreos without the cream"

March 17, 2015 7:29 p.m.

Because I was literally hated out online by using Grand Arbiter Augustin and because I haven't played Orzhov in any format for a long time and aside from Dimir and Azorius it's my 3rd favourite guild.

March 17, 2015 7:37 p.m.

enpc says... #39

You could always build a Sharuum the Hegemon deck. Then you get all three :P

March 17, 2015 7:39 p.m.

enpc did that once. Again I was hated out because people thought I ran an infinite combo. It was actually just an artifact themed deck.

March 17, 2015 7:53 p.m.

enpc says... #41

Hey, a question to people - I know inside of combo Rings of Brighthearth + Basalt Monolith makes infinte colourless mana. And I know that outside of combo Basalt Monolith provides one turn ramp.

But as far as activated abilities go, do people have any experience with Rings of Brighthearth? I know it works well with activated ability generals, but I'm more referenign to things like planeswalker abilities/fetchlands/that kind of thing. Do people actually use it to accelerate those kind of abilities or do they just get discussed in a purely academic way?

March 17, 2015 7:55 p.m.

enpc says... #42

CanadianShinobi: the problem is that with a proper control deck, usually your win condition will be combo (due to card space limitations). That or the slow roll with like 2/3 creatures. Ane either way, people don't want to play against that.

March 17, 2015 7:57 p.m.

Ohthenoises says... #43

enpc most Rings players just use it wherever applicable when mana permits. It's a 2 mana tax to get occasional extra value out.

March 17, 2015 8:05 p.m.

bijschjdbcd says... #44

Who has seen the John Avon playmats?

March 17, 2015 8:25 p.m.

enpc says... #45

And for things like fetchlands its decent, but it just feels really fringe. I'm currently deciding on whether its worth including but its still just feels like a combo piece. At the end of the day I probably won't end up including it though.

March 17, 2015 8:26 p.m.

slovakattack says... #46

I do believe I have solidified my deck for the tourney. It's not what I normally play, but it's fun.

March 17, 2015 8:55 p.m.

I've almost decided... but I'm having second thoughts. Not knowing what people will be playing is making sideboard building difficult. Do I expect a ton of Tier 1 stuff? Or do I go with what I think people will play based on their preference... CURSE YOU COMPETITIVE SPIRIT!

March 17, 2015 10:23 p.m.

Nidalee spears taking carries 100% to 25%.

Riven tried to zone me and I just straight up killed her.

I love casters.

enpc says... #49

You playing top nid then? I enjoy support nid. So much damage.

March 18, 2015 12:33 a.m.

slovakattack says... #50

CanadianShinobi: If it's based on preference, then I am clearly playing Gifts.
