sirbar I haven't had a good win in a while. I'm in a bit of a drought. It's how the game is. I mean I love creativity, but I also like my win. Not being able to have a good hard fought game and come out on top over a long period does get a little irksome.

And I think I could make it into more of a control shell, but I think I'm going to keep animar due to the fact that he dodges so much of the popular removal of the format and blocks Geist without a problem, which is the most popular deck around me.

So some of you may have seen the card design on page 191. I decided that I should commit some more energy to designing my old custom set (it gives me something to do, and it's fun).

I mean. As a new yorker, what's to talk about? ARod's back, for fucks sake, (but don't worry, this time he's clean.. and let's face facts, unless you're a secret fan of comparing statistics, baseball's boring as hell), Jet's were horrendous, Giant's were bad, Knicks had the worst year of any new york sport team... ever.. (at least the tickets are cheap). And i'm not a Canadian ice rink fan. But yay. Go rangers. Oh, and the islanders are leaving the island. Dang.

Good thing I was never into sports. The only good thing New York has is a shit ton of amazing smoke spots and an LGS whose owner is super chill. Got some good molly from one of the guys that goes there, but I haven't been in a while.

Well, New York City has some of the best food in the world (along side London, Bologna and Bordeaux), and is arguably the best city in America. I get that you're being sarcastic but I'd much rather live in New York than most other places in the US, though northern California is pretty damn awesome.

I was never one for fancy food, really. Always hated eating anything that wasn't made at home except for the occasional bacon egg and cheese before or after school. The parents made me go places for birthdays, some holidays, etc. and I usually just got a simple meat dish. Granted, there's other nice shit in the state but I'm not picky about where I live so long as it isn't piss poor.

I didn't get to go to the prereleaseb but I had a friend pick me up a U/W box so I'll let you know what I pulled on Monday.
And honestly my favourite part of cali is santa cruz. It's a big city without being packed, like new York city, and the weather is a year round 60 degrees with sun in the afternoon and a marine layer in the morning.

sirbar I havnt spent much time in Southern California, and I hope this doesn't offend you, but I think LA is a disgusting cesspit of a city. Don't have much experience outside of it as far as sothern California is concerned. Why Northern California? Well, aside from the fact that you can actually go skiing in state during the winter , the napa valley area is fantastic , Sacramento is pretty cool and while the hills suck, San Francisco is definitely an interesting city. And the climate is definitely better in general than Southern California.

Your right LA sucks, unless you live their or work there the only reason you go is because of Disney land. The nice part of So Cal are the cities like San Diego and Long beach though I think it is technically part of LA it can be nice if you stay in the nice areas. San Francisco is defiantly an "interesting" city to say the least. Just asking have you ever seen a naked bike race or a pride parade in San Francisco, hell they even run the marathon naked or in a costume. Marin is beautiful and you can get delicious red strawberries year round there. Nor Cal isn't the only part of cali that you can ski at usually. This year we are in a pretty bad drought and all the snow has melted off the mountains. The Sierra mountains go down through most of California and you can ski there any time of the year if you go high enough. With all that said I have never been to the east coast and would like to some day.

aggro. Got a Dromoka box like I wanted and the promo was an Arashin Foremost with a bunch of white warriors and some pump spells. Cool, guess we're doing this. Lost two games. One after mulling to five. The other, I went to three, dragged my way back up to 18, and was then hit for 20. Breaking news, Boltwing Marauder is really good when you can dash out three creatures in a turn.

All you guys suck. You got good cards. I got a stupid promo Living Lore and a regular Living Lore, and absolutely no playable rares. Worst prerelease ever.
The format revolves WAY too much around having a bomb, which is kinda dumb. I can see draft being alright, but Fate works so well with KTK, instead of the jankiness with DTK.

JexInfinite, I did get something playable.. Wasnt in my build, but its being jammed in now... Sorry yeh didnt get anything awesome... I pulled a troll ass Zurgo Bellstriker.. No idea what to do with that shiz..
Was hoping for a single fetch... guess they werent even in this set.. :( which is gay.. basically gambled away 30$ and got the dice I wanted anyway as consolation for my bad RNG.

And this folks is why I WILL NEVER RELY ON OPENING PACKS.
If I want to draft, I'll do it online. I'll never spend $30 on there being a really good chance that I'll get something shit and have a terrible time there losing to anything. If I want to spend $30, it'll be getting shocks, fetches and modern playables.

My alesha deck is the most upvoted commander deck. 300 and Alone is the most upvoted exalted deck. It is also the most upvoted modern Bant deck. Edge and Scale, Bring Forth the Victory is the most upvoted mardu standard deck. 6th in all mardu decks. Don't Blink. Blink, and you're dead. is the most upvoted Bant blink deck. 2nd most upvoted Bant modern deck. Kor Legions is at 27th place in most upvoted decks of all time. 9th if you remove all the jank and joke decks.

I'd have the most upvoted mardu deck in general if i hadn't deleted it. I delete many decks. I'm sure many people get irritated because I've noticed a lot of people want to build the brews i made (folders labled: to be built or something like that)
