chewy bacon, godamnit. if i wanted to eat a cracker, id eat a freakin triscuit. its the same reason i want my steak medium rare - if you cook the shit out of meat, the fat renders out. yes, thats healthier, but fuck that! you're eating godamn bacon! man up. fat adds flavor - it is in those cuts of meat for a reason, lol. if you wanna be healthy, throw a carrot on your sandwich instead.

My reasoning is this:
Rakshasa are D&D baddies. Dragonborn are as well. What better way for unity than for the races to merge with each other?
The flying represents that dragonborn typically have stubby wings so it stands to reason that they could Jump but not for long.

I like my steak warm. I think I might be a bit iron deficient cause I get my steaks raw and I salt the shit out of it. Meh.

Okay, this is completely lame. My LEAST upvoted deck of all time is the ONLY deck I have that has reached first place. This irritates me.

My second most most upvoted did, too! But I leave the place to you now, since my time limit has been reached :p
Anyway, welcome to T/O, mylady. The place where the best decks are the least upvoted, where non-competitive decks can be competitives and Storm Crow reigns supreme...

I have made so many decks, I am not keeping track anymore....

What the eff is wrong with you people?!

I often just delete my decks as most are just random ideas. The ones i keep are special on their own though. Idc if people like them or not

What do you guys think about Chromantiflayer as a deck? Terrible or good?
March 2, 2015 5:20 p.m.
Ohthenoises I think that deck is the definition of inconsistent. Not saying it doesn't work, but there are two dozen other decks you can play in standard that have a specified game plan that generally works. The chomantiflayer deck is a crapshoot on whether you get the right cards in the yard at the right time or not.

So I infinite combo'd with alesha on turn 5 in an edh game. I got someone hitting me off for netdecking. I was like, "Bruh, have you any idea who I am?"

Femme_Fatale says... #26
Ohthenoises, look at poompi's deck. He made a real beast of a one.
March 2, 2015 5:29 p.m.
If someone ever got upset at me for net decking, whether or not I was net decking, I would just laugh at them. The whole elitist view on net decking being for bad magic players is ridiculous. All that really is, is an excuse for your own poor playing or bad deck building. Absolutely nothing wrong with using a deck created by a pro player.

Idk, it feels pretty consistent as long as I don't do the "I'm waiting for more targets" thing that Frank did in his recorded games. Also, he misplays a bunch in that you can exile a Sylvan and get the hexproof but not the Defender.
8 2 drops that feed the grave, then there's Tasigur and Sidisi. Who knows, I'll test it out and let y'all know.

How the fuck do you net deck a non-french list anyways!?!
There aren't any databases that track that kind of shit so the only place to "net-deck" a multiplayer list is from here on T/O and other places like MTGS.

I like +1s, but I like suggestions too. I used to use the advertise your deck thread, but I got frustrated with the feedback I got. Now I just deckcycle, and hope people find it. Though, sometimes I just want a couple +1s, so I deckcycle one of my sweet Not for Stiffs decks. Don't click if that if you are looking to view serious decks.

It's quite simple: You net deck because people are fucking retarded. I imagine the confrontation went something like this.
A wild PLAYER 1 has appeared!
PLAYER 1 used: TURN! its not very effective!
Femme_Fatale uused: INFINITE COMBO! It's super effective! PLAYER 1's life run out!
Wild PLAYER 1 fainted. Wild PLAYER 1 used BITCH FIT after fainting! Nothing happened!

The only time I've ever gotten bitched at for net decking was at a finals match of FNM when m15 was the latest set. Was doing a green devotion list. The guy I was playing was not one of the regulars and had been boasting about how the people at my lgs were all pretty bad players and how it was an easy way to win store credit. After stomping him 2-0 while his girlfriend was watching, he started saying how I was a terrible player using "Tom Anderson's deck", cursed me out, and stormed outa the shop.
The fact I started laughing at him when he was raging and leaving the shop probably didn't help.
March 2, 2015 5:49 p.m.
Yeah I had people pissing all over me when I posted the list for there's the door.
Even though I had the original article and stated clearly that it wasn't my deck in the description I still had people shit talking me.

I have been accused of net decking before too. The thing about magic is building the deck is 90% of the game for me. So I don't really like being accused of that.
I don't have a problem with people doing it though. I know others enjoy the game differently. The only thing I really don't like, but will play against, is proxies.

If you play competitively like I do, not netdecking is hard. If you're playing a list to test it out and see what you like, there's absolutely no problem in that.
If you lose, try netdecking yourself. No one's above it.
March 2, 2015 6:13 p.m.
Ohthenoises says... #41
GlistenerAgent I built a list recently that I think has the chops to make tier. 90% of my game/match losses were due to my own stupidity.

I was recently accused of net decking by using my The Way of Tempo deck. I'm not sure how my opponent came to this conclusion, especially since I lost the game.
March 2, 2015 6:19 p.m.
Didgeridooda: We had a guy proxy a Taiga in one of our edh leagues because he couldn't afford a real one. Except he just kept playing with it.
I don't mind if people are testing stuff out - sometimes you don't want to buy expensive cards only to find they're not in the final design (I've found myself swapping 10-15 cards around in a deck at a time). But then you should only be using the deck for casual games.

Opinion time. Meatghetti, and doughballs.
Slowcook a pot roast, and pull it in to thin strands for the Meatghetti. Then make dumplings for the doughballs. Little Alfredo sauce on top. Good idea, bad idea, best idea?
March 2, 2015 6:21 p.m.
Slow cook the pot roast then turn the doughballs into crusty garlic bread? Add red wine for comsuption.

One guy at my shop runs a full power deck fully proxied. The deck is a couple grand, but he said he was going to work to actually build it over time. The proxies are really nice looking, and much effort was put into them. Seen this a couple times, it is a little annoying. I don't run things like mana crypt since I do not have the money to drop on that.
I saw another guy play a full power deck but his proxies were just basic lands with sharpie names on them. Duals and all. This is really annoying.
That said, if I face someone with real cards, and a $3-5k I am happy to play against it.
I don't really know why I feel that way exactly. Shouldn't I want to play the best possible cards? I could never bring myself to play proxies of cards I don't have. I did play with pieces of paper representing cards I have in other decks once, and felt weird, and bad about that. Fyi, I have 0 issue with people doing it that way when I play against them.
